https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/06/15/lab-leak-theory-doesnt-hold-up-covid-china/ Really good article on why the “growing evidence” for the lab leak theory, isn’t. Revising my estimate of it down to ~12%. The lack of access to the WIV databases is most of that.
...aaaaand I just had the Moderna 5G chip installed this evening. My province stopped providing the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine as a second dose because too many people were getting blood clots. So I have the COVID-19 vaccine mixer cocktail. Also, my second penis grew a second penis.
This might explain a few things - the average Trumper has done things to their body that would make any self-respecting immune system want to cap a fool.
It's probably already been mentioned but in America at least, business to reserve the right to require almost any damn thing of their employees, up to and including vaccination. This is one of the very few instances of right to work laws being a win. Don't get vaccinate, you don't work there any longer. And there's no shortage of people to replace you in this market.
Doubling down on their status as the pro-COVID party, I see. It's been observed many times that the "pro-life" platform is better described as "pro-birth," but now it seems there's more to it. The Republican position is to: 1) Make sure as many people are born as possible. 2) Once they're born, make sure they die as quickly as possible. It honestly makes me wonder if the fruitloops think they're building an army in heaven and are racing to bulk up its numbers as fast as they can.
Jon Stewart is not of the body. Hew went on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and told the audience what any rational person has thought since the beginning, Covid probably escaped from the lab. Because Trump said though, it must be a lie, right? https://thehill.com/opinion/healthc...conformity-cabal-how-political-comedy-is-done
Do you even listen to yourself? This is the kind of statement that pushes people to extremes. Jon Stewart can have whatever opinions he has. I can disagree or not disagree. Why does he have to be "of the body"? What does that even mean, anyway?
OMG. I can't even get through an episode of the original series. It's that bad - compared to modern tv and movies. It's horrific. So, spare me the BS about I should know TOS.
are you seriously suggesting Jon Stewart's opinion is a reliable source? Here's a vox article on the possibility of a lab leak. It's long but a good read. After reading, my take is it's possible. It could have been a lab employee infected during specimen collection in another part of China who brought it back. It's less likely they were investigating it or engineered it. After 3 years of bullshit from the trump, anything he said should have been and was dismissed outright. That there might have been a Wuhan lab connection is worthy of investigation, but not because Trump raised the possibility.
Jon Stewart was doing the media's job for them for years so it's entirely possible he's a reliable source.
The fact that Trump's rhetoric was so poisonous to get people to not even consider the possibility speaks volumes to how little credibility he had by that point. If it did originate in a lab, then that's that but he had no way or knowing that and it wasn't the reason he leaned into perpetuating racism as a result.
Jon Stewart is also a vegan who believes olive oil is poison. Are you taking advise from a VEGAN?! Anyway, what Jenee said. He's allowed his opinions and we're free to agree or disagree.
Jon Stewart's staff decides on a topic, then thoroughly research that topic. Then they send that information to the writers. The writers, then write the script for the Daily Show or the Last Week Tonight Show or any other show like that. OTOH, Jon Stewart's opinion, long after he left the Daily show, is still an opinion. He may or may not have done research, I don't know. But, to compare an opinion, to an episode of any "news comedy show" is not even remotely in the same neighborhood. Research = evidence Opinion = nothing
It's simplistic thinking to believe that The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, etc are staffed by a bunch of comedy writers who "do the media's job for them". In fact, many of the people who work on those shows are actual journalists whose research then gets written to be funny by the writers on staff.
Fun fact. I had to stop watching the Daily Show because the information provided should not be a humous topic and that people could/would argue with it for political reasons was enough to give me ulcers.
Probably the same guy who likes free gifts, eats beef hamburgers and was thinking about it in his mind.
Yesterday the United States recorded 83 deaths from COVID19. 83 is too many, but it's also the first time since MARCH 2020 that fewer than 100 deaths were recorded across the entire United States.
