Well I can certainly believe that a coronavirus could come from such a place and sure it's possible this outbreak is from the market we can't really say for sure given that just a few miles away from the supposed ground zero wet market is a level IV biohazard facility. The Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory.

The Chinese are not known for quality control. They've had SARS escape labs in Beijing multiple times.

So really I say it's a 50-50 shot that it actually started in the market. My bet would be on them messing with it in the laboratory and somehow it got out. The market is just for the Chinese to save face because if this thing really does go world wide and gets bad and the world finds out it was the lab that started it China is going to be trouble.

The Chinese government could be rounding up political dissidents under the pretext that they're sick to ship them off to prisons or concentration camps. My Chinese is far too rusty to even have a glimmer of an idea of what they might be talking about in that clip.

In the meantime, researchers are learning more about the deadly virus, and now they warn it may remain on surfaces for a significantly long period of time.

Novel coronavirus (2019-CoV) has quickly become a top story across media outlets all over the world, and unfortunately fear-mongering and unverified information has run rampant. Understandably, most people are primarily concerned with avoiding infection themselves, but just like everything else with this situation, verified reports of how exactly the virus is spread have been hard to come by.

A team of German researchers is offering up some important answers. Though their findings are not 100% verified, they are at the very least backed by legitimate scientific analysis performed by professionals. Paramount among their conclusions is that the virus can remain active and infectious on surfaces for up to nine days at room temperature.

I would have to agree that the wet market would make a far better boogie man than the lab down the road. Stuff coming from china is very much propaganda. Even if it got out of the lab, if the local market is the Wuhan wet market it would be where you would see it first. I think it is a little too coincidental that there is a viral lab extremely close to where it started. A corona virus is not necessarily the specific virus, but rather a class of virus that has specific strains.

The world should be demanding that given the circumstances China opens it's lab to independent investigators in order to make sure safety protocols are met with this sort of thing. I get research has a purpose in this area, but this should be like accidentally exploding a bomb that wipes out one of your cities. Oh wait, we already let russia do that sort of thing without investigation during the trump administration.
