You must not know about fraternities and sororities. The video you linked to pales in comparison to fraternity rituals. It looks creepy from the outside, but it's really hoaky and laughable from the inside to anyone with a brain.
Really? They didn't do that here in Georgia (maybe in grade school) and especially not in high school.
People are pretty patriotic in blue states. I have no personal caring for the Pledge. The concept rankles, but at the same time, I'd say it's pretty harmless. I'm surprised they don't do it in Georgia.
They may in some schools, I don't know. Then again I live in a suburb of the second or third biggest city in Georgia.
