    Nothing is incorrectly set up.

    It's a glitch/loophole that only happens when someone who is already a member changes their e-mail and doesn't verify it.

    No, new members and spambots can't post....I think we all would have noticed if non-members could post with impunity.

    New members who don't verify never become full members. The loophole only seems to work when existing members do it.

    Ex-Admins have always maintained access as unofficial advisors since the beginning.

    I actually don't know if Lanzman changed that or not, but it should surprise no one paying attention if Nick still has access. :shrug:
