    Fffffuuuuu!!!!!!

The @Home software won't update. WTF is up with that? It updated the OS fine, and I even added Alphaman and Midnight Funeral to my friends list. But it downloads maybe 2% of the update to @Home then drops the connection.

Is it my modem? Is it my router? Maybe it's my Derek Jeter herpes?? What???

Really? Even if I have one of the older 80gig models? I only glanced at the manual, but I seem to recall it specifying the physical cable for connecting to the LAN.

    Ok, I did it!

For those who's PS3s have update fail, you can get around it by uninstalling @Home then reinstalling.

And Para, you can't choose the Ghostbuster's house as your clubhouse. You can only buy it as your Personal Space. That's like an apartment, but you can invite people over any time. The only bad thing about Personal Spaces is you have to be on @ Home in order for people to go into.

The Clubhouse is the one I bought, and I have created it. It is active, and I have sent Alphaman and MF an invite. Just holla at me via rep or PM if you want me to add you. You guys can enter it at any time. I've decorated the place with a Christmas tree and a throne.

As far as I know, it's wireless. My friend has hers wireless and it's a fairly recent model. I think she got it last year for Christmas. I have mine wired though, just to cut down on lag.

    checking in from the road,

Scorp, I will check it out... when I'm back after New Years.

What did it tell you about price and monthly billing when you bought it ?

Oh... and how much does it suck that you can't make the Ghostbusters Firehouse your clubhouse? What were they thinking!

I bought the Summer Home thinking I could turn it into the club, but I can't. So I wasted $5 there. They should at least let you preview the places before you buy them.

I then went and made a proper club, and then shelled out more dollars to furnish it with a lot of plants.

Anyone try it out yet? If you want me to arrange the furniture differently, just tell me.

I did buy the Ghostbusters limited edition fan pack, so if you REALLY want, I could put that Ghostbuster's car right in the middle of the living room. :marathon:

At this point the discussion is veering towards Press Start. I'm going to move it there if there's nothing else here for the staff to do.

The question is does the staff officially endorse Scorp's Club as Wordforge's home on the playstation network?

If yes, that's pretty big. I can't think of any other instance where WF has extended beyond the message board.

There should probably be some kind of sticky announcement atleast.

For somebody that's not going to be "back" until after New Years, you sure are posting a lot. In fact, you've posted more over your "break" than I have. :wtf:

An official announcement in Press Start might be nice. But if not, it's alright too.

They are never good at re-creating Asian characters in-game, which is why I look like an Italian.

Still, I will try to post some screen caps.

I'd visit... I'd even run it, but to be honest, I'm probably not the best person to do so. $5 isn't that much to get started and I don't even mind a monthly fee, but I'm not going to purchase virtual clothing and furniture to impress a bunch of e-bitches over to my clubhouse.

The truth is that I meet a lot of people over the PSN everyday playing these multiplayer games. At least 100 a week on Modern Warfare 2 alone. It wouldn't be a thing to invite them over to WF. Outside of Press Start and Media Central, I don't see much in the way of new membership...

You know what... now that I think it through, this is actually a pretty awesome idea! Especially with regards to Media Central. PS3 owners more than likely use it's Blu-Ray capabilities. They might appreciate Paladin's Blu-Ray Review Thread.. they could re-invigorate the Press Start Forum... and even some of the others. There are about 25 million PS3 users worldwide...

And I don't think this place is dying at all.

I just visited the WF Clubhouse today! It was empty, but this is a start. I really feel good about this. I meet so many people on PSN..... It's crazy.

Scorp.... Is there a way to capture a screen cap while on the PS3? How?

I have added Locust Inferno to the club.

I also made Alphaman a co-leader of the club. Not sure what you get with that. Maybe it lets you move furniture around?

I ran around the Central Plaza telling everyone who would listen to visit Press Start here at WF. I think we should start some threads here that might make gamers feel more at home.

Scorp! Thanks for making me co-leader. If you have a PayPal, I'd like to help pay the monthly fees or something. I hope I can get a chance to post on the bulletin board.

    Here's an idea...

I was in the Unchartered Among Thieves Temple Thingy and there was this guy walking around in between walls, on air, etc; clearly exploiting some kind of glitch. Everyone was asking how he did it, and he refused to tell. If we could find the answers and post them in an FAQ sticky here it would atleast give people a reason to check out the site.

Also a FAQ on where to find free stuff for your avatar might bring in a few people.

I plan to hit up people at SingStar and The Mall. They always want to talk there.

I hope to check it out soon.
