I love tequila, behind a good single malt scotch its my favourite drink. Something about the cactus flavour that i just really like :)

    I'm 28 on the 8th :P

Oh and don't mix 2 bottles of vodka, 4 bottles of red wine and two of those little Baileys bottles (the tiny ones that fit in the plam of your hand)
Might have been some beer but not 100% sure.

    Hangover from hell

Beer and wine are too flavorful for the inexperienced. She should go with a simple drink like vodka and OJ, or rum and coke.

Due to your age and the context of how you said it, I'll assume you mean one of those damned awful alcoholic soda pops. If you meant a bottle of Vodka, then good on you, if you meant alcopop, and half of that got you groggy, you may want to drink the above mentioned rum and cokes, so that the caffeine can keep you going.

For my 21st, I borrowed from some classic George Thorogood, and ordered "one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer." Of course, by the time I was 21, I'd already consumed more alcohol than many do in a life time.

The water advice is great. A friend once told me to drink so much water that you can hear it sloshing around in your belly. That's how Plow avoided the Technicolor Yawn during his College drinking days. That, and avoiding the really hard stuff. I had a roommate once who drank a whole bottle of Tequila, puked all over himself, and passed out. He woke up in the night to relieve himself and realized too late that he was in fact pissing in his closet.

As far as drinks are concerned, Fuzzy Navels are always fun. And I had a friend who swore by Rum Runners. I was always a Bourbon man, which I wouldn't recommend for starting out.

You should do it the proper Trekkie way, Anna...go to Quark's in Vegas and have yourself a Warp Core Breach (a Long Island Ice Tea, only bigger, with bubbling, smoking SFX) and then listen to the Ferengi when he comes along and ask why you, a hew-man female, are not naked ...

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, you know. :)

If you drink tequila take it straight without a chaser of any kind. The flavor should be enough without salt and lime (pussies). :D

Boone's farm is for high schooler's :nono: enough said.

Wine is good, but if you haven't been drinking wine before go with a sweeter one. The dryer wine takes some getting used to. Margarita's are the bomb. Rum and Coke. Vodka and Orange Juice. All good Choices :techman:

Just try a lot of different things. But be careful about what you mix. Some of the worst drinking experiences I've had were when I mixed badly.

And water. Drink a lot of water.

Interesting, considering sodas/sugar is one of the things that help provide a hangover.

Hydration is important though. I find the ice from my burbon adiquate, heh.

Also I recommend a couple of Alieve prior to quitting for the night. It helps alot.

If you pace yourself, it can be fun. Your body should burn off about an ounce of alcohol an hour so put that in the noggin for future refference so you're not praising the porcilean god....

I plan on getting some of that top shelf stuff anyway, which makes you feel good with less actual drinks required. I'll most likely be drinking it with my mom, so no getting shit-faced drunk, accidentally or otherwise here.

    :)

The only way to properly experience your 21st is a bar crawl with friends. And a wheelchair.

Sadly, I think PC (and the fear of lawsuits) has killed that tradition.
