Sleepy Joe and his henchmen continue to attack the first amendment

Special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation shot and killed a suspect Wednesday morning in Provo, Utah, following an attempt to serve arrest and search warrants to the man who allegedly made threats to President Joe Biden and other officials ahead of a trip by Biden to Utah.

According to the felony complaint filed at the US District Court in Utah and obtained by CNN, Craig Robertson threatened “to take the life of and to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States.”

Look man, just because people say things or make threats or express a desire to commit acts of brutal violence, doesn't mean you can just punch them in the face or try to arrest them. That's unconstitutional, bro.

You've got to let them get a few shots off first, or let them set a few synagogues on fire, then you can act in legitimate self defense against them. That's called due process*.

No, there is a bit of space between saying I am going to kill the president and then actually taking a shot at him given I am not presently in his company with a weapon.

For instance, under your logic here the authorities should be arresting you for your claims on assaulting Nazis. But, they rightfully are not because you have not gone in any direction to actually do so. Believe me, if they could have you arrested for your rhetoric they would. That is a thing today like it was a thing in Nazi germany, only the law would require you to make some sort of preparation and action against nazis that could be proven in court.

I have had a few people run to the cops saying I was going to kill thewm in order to get me tossed in jail. You wouldn't believe how fast some crazy in california would roll around on a police officer station saying they are in immediate danger and demand I be arrested on the east coast for planning to kill them because I wrote something mean about them online. Then you would not imagine how they would cry online about how the police laughed at them and told them to piss off.

However, if you were found outside a Nazi's house for no good reason with a AR, or I were to show up at the front door of one of the people I trolled, it would be a much different story and there would be a lot of nefarious actions before that which would get us charged with such a crime.

In all fairness, it seems like they caught this guy by surprise, and he was mostly full of hot air. Someone seriously expecting a confrontation could at least shoot a few people before getting taken out. A teenager in Edmonton managed to kill two cops with a shotgun not too long ago because he knew they were coming.

Thought about this a bit more, and it's quite depressing. This idiot likely represents the beliefs of tens of millions of Americans, all of whom think Donald J. Trump is just a swell guy who got the short end of the stick.

Advocating for the assassination of your political leader is not how democracies function. It's very un-American, despite the fact that a few presidents have sadly been murdered.

Look... I wouldn't be sad if Trump dropped dead from a heart attack, but in all seriousness I would never advocate for someone to kill him despite the clear threat he poses to American democracy and global stability.

Yeah, in all seriousness, it's been pretty disheartening watching tens of millions in my country be so easily fooled and brainwashed by propaganda over the past 20 years. There isn't really a fix, but we can prevent in the future. Invest in education to sharpen students' critical thinking skills. For a few generations, conservatives have actively worked to gut public education and we are witnessing the results. Now we just have to wait for them to die out.

The thing is though they've always been here. They are just loud, organized, and on the internet now. In the 2000s the bozos didn't know how to spread their message.
