Why, so fuck all can be done about it again? I know Tamar says she is pruning but I tried to find a smilie the other day and it was just as freakin' impossible as it was when we had that thread. Gave up. A huge smilie list is fucking worthless if you can't ever find anything in it. People don't want them pruned just for shits and giggles. People want it pruned so that they can actually use the damn thing.
I'm not discussing the whole list right now. It's simple...if you want any flags from the "Flag" Category, save 'em.
Maybe save the flags that regular users use. Save the ones in Muad's sig maybe? Or the Canada one? Also, has anyone actually guaranteed that upgrading vBulletin will solve our database issues? I've seen a lot of "Do it do it!" but not a lot of "Doing it will do X" except for "Doing it will break a lot of features, but..." Anyways, that's a different thread (threads?) altogether. Also, yes, let's purge a bunch of smilies.
I'm just going to quote this because it hasn't gotten any response yet. Async is right: While losing the flags won't hurt much, it's difficult to see how this is useful pruning. The flags page isn't the problem in navigating the smilies.
