This is a bullshit thread designed to tell us that we were all wrong about how he fucked his last job up.
It depends on the nature of the job. A professional job for a corporation? No way, the hiring process takes longer than that. There's plenty of jobs out there that aren't hired in that manner though, especially in small business. Some of those do have benefits. So I would say seems unlikely, but I've got no reason to disbelieve at this point in time. That doesn't change the fact that he certainly didn't handle exiting the last job professionally. But then, I've told a few bosses to fuck off in my time, and I've always gotten another job. Haven't done it since I've had a family and a mortgage, but when I was a younger man yeah.
Then again, it could be that his last job really, really sucked and he didn't leave it on the spur of the moment as advertised. In any case, I'm glad he was able to move on. I hope he can fit in to this one.

He started a thread seven hours earlier about quitting his job the day before, and instead of being praised for "sticking it to the man," he got criticized and laughed at. Then he disappears for seven hours, comes back, and makes one short post that (if true) makes him look like he made the right decision after all. He's lying to save face. Yup. How do you know about his real job? I'm not calling you out or anything, I'm just curious about what he has posted about it before that lead you to this conclusion.
I can't speak for Tamar, but he responded to a question I had in his Blue Room thread about what line of work he was in (though he didn't say exactly what his job title/duties were).
He adds two and two together and gets "flatulent orangutan" as an answer. If he works for Wells Fargo or any similar company it's as a janitor. Probably the same for his "friend" if the "friend" exists. No one with any financial skills would spend any time with Garm except to con him out of a buck.
