You are just angry because the use of a token does not excuse your racism. Kanye was out of touch for a long time. It makes sense for him to embrace trump to get tax cuts and because he is selfish like a republican. Kanye makes a mistake that if they were not forced to by equal rights laws they would not let him make money or drink at the same water fountains. Dems are very afraid that blacks might stop voting mindlessly left and think for themselves.

It's very hard for serial losers like Dems to gain power when their platform seems to be comprised only of hate and division. When black voters wise up about which policies will actually improve their lives, Dems will have to construct new means of gaining power. (And I don't mean educating the kneejerk mindless Annas, for whom everything in their life is viewed in terms of black v white, that just silly talk, and a waste of breath.)

Which is why the left must resort to tactics like talk about the fantasy of abolishing electoral college, and stacking SCOTUS with leftie-indoctrinated lawyers that feel it's ok to twist English to pull new laws from out of their leftie activist asses. To then use SCOTUS as back-door to adopt liberal policies they can't pass by winning Congress and making laws.

Oh, yes, the Dems very much fear losing 'black-serfs-vote-Left' from their long relied upon entitlements. And thus it's rational for the left, who fear any off-script discourse or sometimes even a shred of free thinking, to hate Mr. West.

Do you really think everyone thought Kanye was a genius until the last few weeks? Are you really that clueless and ignorant about his past and his public perception? Are you really that dumb?

The answer seems to be yes to all three.

Even if that were true, we've got a bit of time since the GOP has been putting so many roadblocks to them actually voting (and then saying they "mindlessly" vote Left).

No. The whole issue is a red herring.

The funny thing about red herrings is they can often be used to highlight the absurdity of a case. The idea that KW is in some way representative of an authority which can lend legitimacy to an equally morally and intellectually defunct peer rather than simply being a parody of blatant shared self interest simply doesn't warrant being taken seriously.

People in general tend to vote for the party that they think has the best chance of helping them (in whatever way they need help) or their family/peers. A secondary reason is the party that will help society as a whole, or at least the segment of society they relate to. The first reason is what I keep hearing as to why blacks typically vote democrat at the 90+ percent level. But if Trump (or any republican) can consistently keep black unemployment down and not "oppress" them in any other way then why should they be obligated to vote democrat? It will boil down to "what have you done for me lately"? sooner versus later. No fucking doubt much of the left will posit that Trump only wants black votes. And their point would be what exactly? Democrats only want their vote too because the liberalism & progressivism attached to democrats can't help the average black voter. Are the cities where most blacks live any safer or wealthier for them under democratic leadership? I guess I'd have to google it, but it's worth researching. What if the republicans want their vote and by getting that vote it benefits them in a tangible, consistent way? I guess eventually the largest democratic voting block would be socially conscious/well meaning (when it's convenient) college educated white females. Only time will tell.

Side-note don't forget to vote - it's right around the corner! Oh shit....daylight saving time will be blamed if anyone misses their chance.

All politics aside, I love Kanye West. He's from my old neighborhood and I identify with him. I'm starting to think that there's no one around him that has any love for him. I'm embarrassed for him. My initial opinion of kanye west was his music is meh. I could take it or leave it. There were some ok power waves, but other than that he was typical pop rap crap. I am not a fan of the genre. He was not gifted or particularly salient IMO. His behavior is troll hook. He goes out and behaves as outlandishly and dickish as possible to generate headlines so fuck him and howard stern. When he sold a white tshirt for over a hundred dollars and called it art he was a con man who does not even give his fans anything IMO. I disliked him long ago, and I can say his love for trump goes right along with the rich trying to get away with everything they can. I think Kanye is classist and completely blind. He is like Catilyn Jenner. It is great that she is trans and has come out, but I only find her insightful in her own little celebrity bubble. I do not think Kanye goes much outside of his bubble either, and considering his bubble includes kardashian drama it is no where near reality.

I will agree that on network TV they should probably strive to go above how people speak at home and use some profesionalism in the news, but if you are taking CNN for the authority on how black people talk you are probably a fucking moron.
