    Two years ago he was locked up in the hospital for "psychiatric issues." As has often been noted when talking about celebrities, one of the biggest problems they have are being surrounded by enablers who worry less about the celebrity's health, and more about keeping the gravy train rolling.

    I've never understood why celebrities opinions seems so important to some, particularly the press. But it has been interesting watching the supposed tolerant left go in full racist mode over what was nothing more than a photo op.

    No really, if you want Kanye he is all yours. Kanye West thinks republican ideas are great. There is a fucking endorsement. We know how Kanye judges things because we have seen his wife and his reality tv career. That is the sort of person who works with republican ideas.

    Now here is something that I can agree with. I had already decided to support Amara Enyia for mayor before she was endorsed by Chance the Rapper last week. Now Kanye is getting in on the act. His usual bandwagon jumping? Maybe, but thanks for the donation all the same. :techman:

    Oh, and she's probably the farthest left candidate, so all this "Kanye is a conservative!" nonsense can stop now. :lol:

    That would be my guess as well. Ideology is being tossed out the window in favor of any candidate who promotes change. Thats how Trump could win a Republican primary despite being at odds with much of what the party had stood for. On the left you have socialist candidates like Bernie Saunders and Ocasio-Cortez having success and gaining traction despite an ideology that not too long ago was considered political poison. People have gotten so tired of the system that they are reaching for any and everything that is different.

    Good call! Enyia is a bona fide public policy expert and the only candidate with a detailed plan to dig the city out of its financial mess. All the same, I still think Kanye is primarily concerned with whatever will bring the most attention and notoriety to himself.

    yes there are evolutionary advantages and always will be. In no well established society on earth (that I'm aware of) do women prefer to seek out ugly men to increase the odds of bearing ugly children. This is taking wealth & status off the table of course.

    CHICAGO (AP) — Fresh off his bizarre Oval Office visit with President Donald Trump, hip-hop megastar Kanye West drew a crowd when he joined a Democratic mayoral hopeful and Chance the Rapper in a sidewalk appearance on Chicago's South Side.

    West didn't say anything during Amara Enyia's event in Woodlawn Tuesday afternoon. He looked several times at his phone and after about five minutes told Chance "I've got to bounce," and left with his entourage.
