So the article you posted unequivocally says CRT is not being taught in K-12 schools, and that a union backtracked on its stance on CRT. What is the issue here?

I suppose you missed the part I put in bold where it says CRT is being taught in K-12 schools?

The NEA "accepting the conservative framing of CRT" is different than it actually being taught. If you read further, the article clearly takes the position that CRT is not taught in K-12, that the conservative framing of CRT is a political tactic, and that the NEA backtracked its position on CRT.

So again, what is the issue?

The issue is what flies out of FF's dick after fapping to right-wing news media and YouTubers on CRT, thinking it's going to demolish the left.

So many potential lives dying on a sock. :(

The issue comes with leftist liars, like ones on this board who always start by saying, "oh it's not being taught to kids" just like the narrative of, " hormones aren't being given to kids" or, "we're simply teaching people about Marxism and Communism, we're not promoting it.":bullshit: We go through this every time and every time it turns out to be a lie. The left always wants to disguise their agenda, but every time they get found out on their disingenuous bullshit.

Y'all seem to have covered this pretty well from what I understand. If it helps anyone, CRT can be thought of as a theory like any other academic theory--not necessarily the "one truth" (thanks Dr. Jones), but as a lens through which the world can be viewed. The more things that can be explained through that lens, the stronger the theory is; e.g., quantum theory explains a whole lot, but some of the explanations are (IIRC) kludgy, and there may be a better theory that fixes the kludge. For another example, in psychology you can look at the same behavior under different frameworks (= theories) and get different causes for that behavior.

As a tangent, I highly recommend Ibram X. Kendi's book "Stamped from the Beginning," in which he lays out his theory that racist systems in America haven't been caused by racism, they are the cause of racism.

I was taught about Marxism and Communism in school and am pretty much the farthest thing from either

What's your alternative? Skip over those substantial parts of history and act like they never happened?

The article you posted specifically says the opposite of what you are claiming. Do you realize how crazy you sound?

If "leftists" truly did somehow get CRT and promoting Marxism into schools, why would they go about denying it? If it's something they support, why try to hide it or deny it? Even beyond the lack of evidence to support your claim (and your proffered "evidence" directly contradicting your claim), your claim makes no rational sense.

You've gone from a place of arguing from ignorance to just spouting off conspiracy theories and boogeymen.

If Fox News were an item store in a video game-

Fox- This is a lightning sword which dishes out 1 million damage. Just trust me. Now go use it to pwn libs!

(FF takes the sword into battle, and it crumbles into dust and plaster chunks on the first swing)
(Leftforge holds him down, and gives him purple nurple and Indian burns)

FF- Hey, I think you totally ripped me off! :bailey:

Fox- Oh, I'm sorry, I blame the supplier. Here, as apology, take this flame sword that dishes out 1 million damage. I promise it's real this time. :?:

    FF- OKAY!! :hurr:

Hormones given to kids? Where did that come from?

Anyway, I can understand if you're predisposed to think that liberals are liars or whatever. Not much can be done there.

But the very source that you quoted (and presumably believe is trustworthy) says:

Can you come up with actual examples of critical race theory being taught in a K-12 school? Not just a quote from this or that conservative warning about it. Not just something involving race that some people might not like. But something falling under the law-school based notion of critical race theory?

The next conservative talking point is going to be that the rule against perpetuities is being taught to 1st graders to promote communism and abolishment of privately owned property.

None of this is happening except in the delusional minds of the right wing. The things we do have is right wingers being caught teaching racism, lying about religions, and trying to segregate, and keeping anything but straight, cis, white christian, male superiority being taught to kids while indoctrinating nthem into christianity and right wing politics.

This is pure projection on the part of your spoonfeeders and your right wing tendencies to block out anything other than being white and christian.

You have to wait for UA to run away and then you will be the next right wing wackaloon alpha.

Anti trans BS. No kid is given puberty blockers without extensive psychological assessment, but FF has to believe doctors are handing these things out like candy. FOX and other right-wing sites told him so, and they've NEVER lied.

In which case, he should be able to head to his nearest medical practitioner tomorrow and score some, right?

Doesn't even have to take 'em. Could just get 'em, take pics and post them here to totally kill the leftist woke narrative.

    Right?

Why would they deny it? Because they don’t want the parents who don’t support this shit, poking into their business and disrupting their agenda.

It occurs to me that this might be a tacit admission that FF doesn’t actually know what Marxism or Communism actually are.

The parents who don't support this shit are, as I pointed out, not going to believe it isn't happening regardless of how much teachers deny it. The same way they don't believe the Dems don't commit voter fraud, despite the complete lack of evidence. Or how they think Dems are coming for their guns, despite the only restrictive gun laws lately coming from Trump. Or that Trump will be reinstated because a fucking pillow salesman says so.

Or how you think you have a brain, despite your constant fucking inane drooling bullshit.

@Obiwan-Can-Blow-Me is implying these things are being forced onto kids when anyone who did that would be arrested and thrown in jail for child abuse and assault. The children who take them have to fight and beg to have their proper medication. No one hands them out like skittles and forces kids to take them. Even when they are prescribed the kids have to fight brain dead thugs from the right wing to get the medication that helps them. Why should some nimrod who could not pass high school biology even be allowed to have a say in someone else's medication is beyond me, but for some reason we need to ask people who think a sperm is a human being and vaccines have 5g put into them to give microsoft control over their bodies for permission to take medicines they have no idea about.

It is a lie. CRT is the truth. It should be taught to kids in school because the right tries hard to teach lies to our children and society needs to combat what is basically flat eareth teachings by people who want faith to be the same as science. Racism exists and is the foundation of the colonialism that lead to the creation of a state of slavers and genocidal people who killed everyone in their way in their expansion over the Americas. Even Canada, who was sitting innocently in the corner pretending they were better than the US, is digging up mass graves of indigenous people they killed to take over the land other people live on. pretending it never happened does not change the abuses and dead bodies in the ground, and the idiots on the right do not want us to forget for the betterment of society. They want us to forget so they can do more racism.

Pure projection. This is exactly why the right wing, aka your trumpanzee ass, wants to ban teaching about racism. It is because you don't want people disrupting your agenda of racism. Parents of the right wing want their kids to be prejudice and the truth of their agenda is disrupted when you teach they are the evil they pretend they aren't. Yes, you keep on pretending you are not racist while supporting and doing racist things.
