I'm also temporarily without a home computer. And what makes you think teachers spend all their spare time researching news things?
It was right there is your post, man. You need to read about logical fallacies because you swallowed one whole.
It's much easier if you just follow the link. Posting the transcripts would be spamming given their length.
No. Much of what Trump says is Hitler like. He plays to the same fears and uses the rhetoric. As someone interested in history and WWII you should be able to stop it. Hell, even Trumpites can't tell the difference. How about this, without Googling these quotes, tell me which are Hitler and which are Trump.... “Do not compare yourself to others. If you do so, you are insulting yourself.” "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed." “If you win, you need not have to explain ... If you lose, you should not be there to explain!” “I do not see why man should not be as cruel as nature.” "The more economic difficulties increase, the more immigration will be seen as a burden." "I can fight only for something that I love, love only what I respect, and respect only what I at least know.” "Any alliance whose purpose is not the intention to wage war is senseless and useless." "Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardice." "How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think."
No. I think Trump is a very ignorant man who plays to ignorant people. His comments, ego, behaviour and so on are intellectually limited and childlike, which cannot be said of Hitler. Put it this way, if Trump lived in Nazi Germany he'd be a follower, not a leader. But he is, probably unwittingly, nonetheless playing the same political game and using the same sort of soundbites. I just don't think he has anywhere near the political skill to be a Hitler. Plus, of course, it's a very different age and there is no indication he has any inclination towards Hitler's most extreme beliefs, such as racial purity. To be honest, the real danger is not in Trump himself, but in the alarming rise in people who are happy to buy into the rhetoric, including the bigoted and sexist stuff, or make excuses for it. They are the kinds of people who helped Hitler rise and they are the kinds of people who said "not my problem what happens to the Jews, Germany is strong again".
My post consisted of a headline and a link to an article. Anything else you read into that is on you.
