Andor is our doorway into this period, but it looks like we're getting lot of the rise of Mon Mothma.

If Obiwan is Revenge of the Sith 2.0, this is 2.5. This bridges the gap. Looks like we’re seeing the last remnants of the senate and a growing rebellion.

Rebels was the "doorway" into this period. I love that series and they better not screw with that. If Andor is set 5 Years before ANH, I better see some live action Kanan Jarus.

They'd have to be drunk, and on crack to mess with Rebels.
I think they'll navigate it fine.

Well, if it's about "intelligence" and spying, they're definitely going to have Bail Organa and Ashoka. and if they do that, then... having brief interactions with Hera at the very least and possibly Kanan in the background, would definitely be a cool addition.

I dont’t know. I can’t get excited about this. The character wasn’t that memorable.

As mentioned, this period has been explored already in books and shows.

And we already know what happens to this particular character, so it has the same problem as Obi-Wan.

I’m definitely more interested in the Ahsoka series which spins off from Mandalorian, I believe. Hopefully we will get to see her travel across many unique places in the galaxy and she won’t just spend half the show stuck on Tatooine.

And maybe she could meet some new enemies outside of Separatists or Imperials. Its supposed to be a big galaxy. Let’s see it.

They've hinted at Admiral Thrawn in her scenes in Mando season 2.
I hope the Asohka show is a remake of the Thrawn books with Mando-verse characters instead Luke/Han/Leia.

I really hope the Ashoka show has flashbacks of her after Order 66 and how she and Organa ... brought life to the rebellion. The book was good. I'd like to see it, if only flashbacks, in the new series.

I feel like this show was announced so long ago, and since then we've had shows about Boba Fett and Obi-Wan and seen Leia and Luke and Vader running around doing previously unseen stuff... I feel like now it's a relic from a different era, where we were so starved for new live action SW content that we'd get excited about seeing more of the least interesting person that died in Rogue One. Am I wrong?

I can see that point of view, but I'm focusing on the Mon Mothma story.

I'm looking forward to this, but at the same time we know that he'll make it through everything to get killed by the Death Star. So it kind of takes away a good bit of the story telling.

    Okay, pretty good.

Not sure what to make of the children's' village flashbacks, but the lack of adult supervision seems like it's worth some exposition.

Main time frame is 5BBY, so contemporaneous with Rebels. Live action Kallus?

The Ghost (or a ship jsut like it) is parked next to something that looks a LOT like Ketsu's near the beginning of ep2.

Was that Clancy Brown as the anvil ringer???

First two episodes were alright, but episode three really kicked things off. I can't wait to see Mon Mothma. I also can't wait to see some actual spying going on.

I’m wondering about the significance of the entire planet. There was a mining accident. And now being from Kenari requires secrecy but that may be because they killed that imperial officer who killed the girl.

I missed that! Which one was he?

Missed that too. I thought the ghost stayed mostly in the outer rim. Lothal was definitely outer rim. I can’t find anything that says where Ferrix is. but Kanari was mid rim

I don’t see him listed on IMDB.

I'm guessing major war crime, like wiping out the kiddie village... wiping out the mine was part of the cover up.

Kallus is the imperial who defects and becomes Zeb's BFF.

Pause at 4:51, it's in the top right

Ferrix is a planet inside of the Morlani system (wookiepedia), within the "free trade sector"

that there's a company security force rather than stormtroopers might put that sector in former separatist space, bordering on Hutt controlled outer rim systems. I'm guessing it's in the northeast corner of the SW galaxy map... but there's mention of Wobani frome R1, that's in the southeast corner, near tatooine

First episode was a big letdown. Not very engaging at all.

I'll still give it a shot. Hoping things pick up.

I just meant i didn’t see Kallus in Andor. And thanks for the map bit. I traced Ferrix as far as the free trade sector, but couldn’t get any more info than that. What you say makes sense.

I believe Turkey's post was more a query as to whether Kallus might show up, rather than "was that Kallus?".

I doubt it (Kallus showing up) - if this is the Rebels timeframe then Kallus has his hands full tracking Hera and Co. He never seemed to leave Lothal much unless directly chasing them down.

Yeah, it's more about who might potentially show up given Filloni's penchant for interconnectedness. True, we always see him chasing them across the galaxy from the start of that series, but that was definitely a VCX-100 in the background with it's shuttle absent. Maybe he's chased them there?

I'd be very surprised if they didn't tie into Rebels characters if only to showoff the physical Chopper and test run Hera's CGI.

Yea, I'm looking forward to some interconnectedness between Andor and Rebels. Especially since we're seeing Luthen Rael. I'm hoping it's going to tie up Rebels and a New Hope.
