You sure you'll never be tempted to put a few extra banthas and musical numbers in it?

Some footage was leaked to YouTube, but was quickly taken down. (You probably don't want to click that link due to the autoplaying video.)
If you want to see the clip, you can find it here. Its clearly taken by an extra using his smartphone, and doesn't reveal much at all, IMHO. Its a 2 minute clip.

^Either the website is slammed, or it's already been taken down.

It was there when I posted the link. I'm on a different box and don't feel like spending 20 minutes for the damn page to load on this one, and I'm not going to check the other box to see if it still loads, but its been up for days according to the page.

Darth Vader was somewhat ruined by the prequels. Darth Sidious, on the other hand, was deliciously fun to watch throughout.

I did ultimately get to see it.

It did nothing for me. Just shaky cam footage of a Jaku set and very little of what's going on can be discerned.

The mystery of C3-PO's red arm will be revealed in the comics.

...I don't recall, did they ever reveal the mystery of his silver leg from the classic trilogy? :chris:

From the prequels we saw that his color is only cosmetic. So being red isn't really special.

I think it's been said that there *is* some significance to Threepio's arm color. That is, it isn't just supposed to be some random spare part replacement that happened in the intervening years.

For those of us who build model kits, sucky news. Bandai has the license to make Force Awakens model kits in Japan - and they're fantastic kits - but Disney has ordered Bandai to adhere strictly to their regional license and NOT sell them outside of Japan. Bandai has passed the order on the their distributors.

Revell of Germany has the FA model kit license for the western hemisphere. But their kits are snap-together, prepainted, low-quality children's models.

I may be going to Japan to visit a friend that's stationed there in the next year. She's stationed closet Tokyo and the Akihabara district where those sorts of things are easily found. I'll keep an eye out for one when I'm there. :techman:

I really don't. For reasons I won't go into here, I spent most of that tour being pissed off at the world. The "friends" are by and large FB only and only because I don't post enough for people to remember to prune me. :(

They've been filming part of Episode 8 on Skillig Michael (which was also a location for Episode 7), I hear.

Supposedly the monastery that is there plays a role - either a dark side or light side site.

    Cool.
The shots of the x-wings flying low over a lake in the trailer were apparently filmed at Derwent Water, about 40 miles from me :-)
