If these guys are whitehouse staff then they have to be prepared to work for whatever administration the people vote for. On that front, i can get on board with the s in this thread. I do wonder however if their reaction is because they are now working for a republican, or more specifically working for Donald Trump. I expect the former is more palatable than the latter.

Uh, Bill Clinton pushed for and got the first national gun ban. Obama pushed to reinstate it. Clinton said the Supreme Court got it wrong when it ruled gun ownership was an individual right and overturned DC's handgun ban. And she was going to get at least a couple of Supreme Court picks.

You may not care about gun rights, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that those rights are under attack.

Holy shit you are exactly right! In all the hub-bub about racism/sexism/immigration/deportation etc.etc. nobody brought up our Constitutionally Protected 2nd Amendment Rights. But I do remember Obama and perhaps Clinton from time-to-time during her campaigning telling us "nobody is going to take your guns". And the sad thing is 2nd Amendment rights are sometimes limited (to a draconian degree) or even banned depending on where you live. Good call!

And I do remember something Obama said about the right "clinging to god & guns!" I'm sure a lefty will come along soon and tell us we are taking it out of context, if they can pull themselves out of their Trump crying jag long enough that is.
