Not really, but you may not be alone in your opinion - the guy in the row behind her with the beard (with his eyes closed) looks like he's rubbing one out thinking about her!

Well nobody EVER got arrested for defending themselves against racial violence when Obama got elected - Eric Holder would just declare the violence "non racial in nature" and shut the whole investigation down. I'm convinced - Trump is the anti-christ!

I must've missed the week where he tried to suspend the 2nd?

Wanna enlighten me as to when the motion was made to take all the guns away?

How can one have a right to own guns if the President bans them?
So, unless he's actually kicking in my door to take my guns, my 2nd Amendment rights are secure?

If a law required a waiting period for an abortion, or counseling before an abortion, or added extra cost to an abortion, or regulated abortion clinics such that most people wouldn't live near one...would you say abortion rights have been compromised?

When any liberal politician seeking national office says "I support the 2nd Amendment"--usually to considerable laughter on the part of those who support gun rights--I'd love to see someone follow up with this question: "Really? What's the strongest stand you've ever taken in favor of gun rights?" The silence would be deafening.

so... it never happened except in your head?

    He obviously didn't ban guns.

Didn't try to change the constitution.

What changed in these last 8 years?

What changes were there during slick Willy's terms?

Not sure what the red herring about abortion is? Isn't that SCotUS's thing?

I mean, you say it's laughable that "liberals" are lying to the point of laughter if they claim to support the 2A, so give me some examples of actual motions in congress to restrict that right.

He pushed for a ban. (See links below)
    Tried to ignore it.
In terms of the law, very little because the Congress is pretty pro-gun at the moment.

In the landmark Heller v DC case--in which the ruling was that the 2nd *does* protect an individual's right to own a gun for defense--the two Clinton appointees were in the dissent. If that case had gone the other way, the 2nd would now be some weird text in the Bill of Rights that didn't guarantee any individual right to anything.

One of Obama's appointees to the court--Sotomayor, the "wise latina"--voted against incorporating the 2nd against the states, which would've essentially gutted the 2nd Amendment at the state level.

I can't think of a single thing Obama did to promote gun rights during his tenure, and I've shown several examples of his intent to seriously undermine it.

If your argument is that Obama isn't against the 2nd Amendment because he FAILED to abridge it, well, that's a new one on me. I guess the Germans weren't really at war with England since they failed to invade the island.
A ban on popular semi-auto rifles, shotguns, and handguns. You must really not follow this. It was one of the things that led to Clinton losing his Congress in '94 (and Clinton acknowledges it). People were pissed.
    Just answer the question.
    Seriously?

Is this supposed to be ironic or is your memory just that shitty? :rotfl:

More importantly conservatives never committed violence or rioted (not like they had Soros et. al. to finance it or MSM to sanctify it).

Hey, when it comes to what happened in a different country 20-25 years ago, I'm honestly asking... but considering the one breitbart article you link to starts of with calling a voluntary buyback program a confiscation, I think I'm entitled to ask for a slightly lighter shade of yellow journalism.

Also note that I asked for when it had come up as a motion in congress, not a few random public remarks on observations of other countries' methods of voluntary programs. I don't necessarily agree that an AWB violates the 2A either.

You still haven't explained why your red herring about abortion matters, so I can't give you a response.

Do you take issue with anything factual in the articles?

Do you deny that Hillary is for removing legal protections for the firearms industry? Do you deny she wants to reinstate an assault weapons ban? Do you deny she praised the Australian gun ban?

Here's a Reason.com article that clarifies it for you if you're still unwilling to believe.

I'll say it again: what gun rights groups endorsed her? What stands has she taken FOR gunowners? You won't find a single instance anywhere.

    http://www.factcheck.org/2016/05/trump-distorts-clintons-gun-stance/

Finally, gun rights groups aren't going to endorse Hillary, ever. Ever. Politically, she could say "guns for everybody!" and they wouldn't endorse her.
You ask what stands has she taken for gun owners? You seem to have guns, you can buy them at trade shows without background checks, there are now stand your ground laws popping up in various states, so... I don't know. What more do you want? What stand does she need to take? Look at the dead men, women, and children who were victims of gun violence in this country, then look at the fact your guns are still safely, legally tucked away in your home. Sounds good to me.

Seriously, though, trusting Breitbart for any news is a foolish endeavor. You're smart enough to know better.

I simply don't see limitations on certain classifications of firearm as being contrary to the 2nd Amendment is all. Discussions or proposals of enacting such legislation (let alone legislation that wouldn't restrict weapon types, but rather the qualifications to own them) isn't by definition a repealing of the right to bear arms, not by a long shot.

Look at Canada-you can still by an AR15 here, but the bar for legal ownership is higher... A person like me sure as hell isn't ever going to have that permit... I can live with that.

Anyways, we've gone from liberals, to democratic administrations, to Hillary's term as SoS. YOu've now moved the goalposts to another stadium...

Gun law changes vary from state-to-state and town-to-town. While in theory "the right to bear arms" is protected there are limits and stipulations. To list every single change in every state would take forever. If you don't like the guns laws where you live, you can move here to Georgia where guns & self defense are strongly supported, and criminals are not coddled. BTW before anyone screams "hillbilly red state" Atlanta score nearly 100 percent on tolerance and happiness for LGBT people. It's the best of both worlds - gays are accepted & tolerated and if anybody wants to bully them they risk taking a dirt nap. Right after the Orlando gay club shooting the range I go to was offering free shooting lessons for all LGBT in the Augusta area.

I'm thinking that's why "gun control" was barely mentioned in campaigning and all the pants-pissers in MELTDOWN 2016 have bigger fish to fry over the Trump victory. the US has pretty much burned out on gun control talk - an amazing number of people on the left (and to a lesser extent on the right) have come around to the idea that violent people are the problem, not the guns.
