What the fuck is going on? It's been well over a month and I still can't use the enter key, see avatars and pictures, or use smileys on more than half my posts. Will someone fix this already?

Talkahuano, your problem is reproduceable by no one.

Sorry, but it sounds like your problem.

I'm using Google's Chrome - it's not the best but it's fast loading and hasn't had some of the problems with flaky loading that IE had been having. You can try it, I guess.

What Apostle said. No-one else is reporting anything similar. Only thing I can suggest is logging out of WF, clearing all cookies, dumping your cache, and trying different skins to see if that affects you at all.

I've done all that. Only IE runs the forum correctly, but I'll be damned if I have to use that shitfest to make a post.

Also, O2C offered to use my account to check it, but AFAIK that never happened. What gives? Log me out whenever and use it whenever. In fact, tell me when to log out and I will gtfo.

TKO, may I suggest a dual? Make a dual, and get O2C to approve it. Then use it to surf Wordforge. If the dual surfs and replies fine, it may be your account that is truly fucked.

Heck, if you need, I'll even let you play with Hung Loh.

I had a weird issue on our comapny portal yesterday.

Out of 13 folks using it.... one person's firefox was completely fubarring it and displaying a bunch of question marks instead of the page.

Rebooting didn't fix it, so finally, we had to reinstall firefox. Voila, it was fine.

P.S. his computer was displaying other sites fine.

Actually, it did happen. I found a style error in Solstheim, but everything worked just fine in Odelay. I think I even posted about it, or at least shot Kyle a PM to look into it because I was quite busy at the time.

I had problems in more than one skin. I just reinstalled firefox, even got the new version, and shit's still fucked up.

Nope, turned off NoScript and still had issues. Turned off adblock and still had issues. Cleared cache, cookies, did a clean re-install, ran spybot, ccleaner, antivirus scans, anything I could think of. Still getting the same issues.

Well, from the FF error console, it certainly isn't loading some Javascript.

Try going to the following links and see if any of them throws an error for you:

    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/yui/yahoo-dom-event/yahoo-dom-event.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/yui/connection/connection-min.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_global.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_menu.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_post_loader.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_ajax_reputation.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_lightbox.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_multi_quote.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_textedit.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_quick_reply.js?v=381
    http://www.wordforge.net/clientscript/vbulletin_ajax_threadrate.js?v=381

If any of those fail, it could cause a cascade failure to the main vBulletin JS initialization that occurs at the bottom of the page.

I'm trying to think. Is it possible for network administrators to block Java code from coming through their networks? It doesn't seem like it would be, but meh.

Norton Security suites block a lot of javascript as do some other security suites.... but you said this was only related to firefox. Hmmm.

The formatting goes all funky too. Like if I put "quotation marks" around a word and then quote it, or use a smiley [IMG] and then quote it, everything screws up.

Edit: I had to use IE to make this post, otherwise the errors below wouldn't let me attach or use quotation marks. :garamet:

    I am perplexed.

On the one hand, you're the only one having this problem. I had assumed it was not legitimate because of that (sorry).

On the other hand, this problem is real.

I think a talk with Jelsoft itself on their forums is in order!

TKO, have you tried using a dual yet? It might just be a problem with your account.

What the hell, I'll go make a dual. It'll be named Talka The Destroyer or some shit like that. Let's see if that works.

Another thing you might wanna consider is installing and OLDER version of Firefox. I tried out their latest one, 3.5 I think, and it was also giving me all sorts of crash problems with Wordforge. I now use version 3.0-something.

Surprisingly, it seemed to happen the most on WF, and other vBulletin forums gave me almost no problems. But to be fair, I do spend way more time here than anywhere else. (Lucky for you guys. :ramen: )
