I'm in MN a lot. They don't recognize my TN permit, so I don't carry in MN. I called a MN instructor to see about getting a MN permit. He told me to get a Utah permit instead because between it and my TN permit, I would have better state coverage, and be able to carry in MN with my TN permit. Now, it's a bit more complicated due to the fingerprinting process, but I can take a class here in TN from a Utah Certified instructor in Nashville and then get my Utah permit... and carry in MN! Too bad Range USA isn't Utah certified. I'm gwinne do it!
Yep its weird, but with with a Utah and say a FL or TN permit you can carry in every state that allows it. Of course you still cant carry in the states like NY and CA that dont allow it, but then again no one can.
It's a crying shame. Cop got shot in Hollywood at a theater this weekend. SUPPOSEDLY. News doesn't know, apparently, that you can't carry a gun in CA. The laugh is on them!
When I become benevolent dicatator, I'll remove gun issues from state control and unify gun laws on a national level. Everyone can carry everywhere. Hurt anybody maliciously and spend life in jail. Period.
