If it was a republican in the WH and the IRS was targeting liberal organisations, would he and other liberals be singing the same tune? :chris::mystery:

It is because you make outlandish claims like this that people won't listen to you if you ever find something real.

Right, because it's not like we expect government agencies to operate impartially. The IRS targeted conservatives and libertarians for a fuck ton of hassle nobody else was subject to? No big whoop!

It's beginning to look like this is much ado about nothing (shocking), as it appears that liberal groups were also investigated.

I can't wait until the political pendulum swings the other wa, and it will. We have now granted the party in power the ability to directed targeted attacks on political foes through the IRS. Just so the liberals know to STFU when the tables get turned on them. So sick of this liberal one sides bullshit.

They can always fall back on posting parody pictures of Glen Beck or Ron Paul. It's not like this was anything more than a fist pump for the blue team until it started getting out of control.

On the other hand, it means they'll be too scared to pull shit like this again when there isn't any reason to. And that's as it should be.

^^ Right, because prosecutions and excoriation abounds for civil servants who have lawfully and faithfully executed their duties. Oh, wait.

Yes but you know how liberals are. They will defend Obama until things become so overwhelming that they fear losing dozens of House and Senate seats.

So pretty much barring a major felony being exposed and it being tied directly to Obama's neck nothing will happen to him.

Now the people below him...... A lot of them may be fucked.

And they will get hit in the 2014 mid-terms. Don't let ConfederateMoron tell you otherwise.

Re: Meanwhile, in the Real World...

    Yeah seriously.....

They really must think people are fucking stupid. It can be the only explanation for them to pull this stunt.

    Let us review........

#1 Steven Miller became the agency's acting commissioner in November of 2012.

#2 Steven Miller's term ends in June of 2013. This is already two years into the political targeting of various "right wing" groups. Not saying he doesn't have anything to do with it but that it was going long before he got there.

    #3 Today is May 16, 2013.

#4 Steven Miller has told the people in the IRS that he's leaving in June when his term as acting commissioner ends.

#5 The President said Steven Miller has resigned at his request. Usually when someone resigns at the request of the President that means they leave the job the same damn day. Because resigning at the request of the President is just a fancy way of saying, "you're fired!"

#6 According to various news sources Steven Miller isn't leaving until his term ends. IN JUNE.

So in essence this is the biggest bullshit "I demanded this guy resign" moment in White House history.

And of course the dummies like Garamet fell for it........

If they're overwhelmed by phantom increases, imagine how we'll the IRS will handle their increased responsibilities from the new healthcare laws.
