I don't think Rowling deserves any special protection from legal repercussions just because the things she's posting happen to be transphobic.

I don't disagree with civil matters, or suing someone for defamation or damages or whatever, so long as the lawsuit isn't frivolous.

I don't know if this particular case meets the standard, but I could theoretically see defamation/libel reaching a criminal level under the right circumstances. I know America has no trouble letting right-wing trolls radicalize the mentally ill into carrying out acts of violence, but the rest of the world is under no obligation to follow suit.

However, you still have to figure out what the actual damages are. If libs of tik tok went after me, I do not think there would be an actual loss of income or opportunity.
