Thanks. I wouldn't touch SW or Empire with a 10 ft pole. Return of the Jedi, OTOH...

I've already written out the Gungans. Those fuzzy fuckin' Ewoks better tread real carefully around me...

Finished the final edit; I'm in the process of converting the final file (broken into 3 parts) into pdf files, and then I'll post them in my story gallery thread. Once that is done, the chapter-by-chapter files in this thread will be deleted from the gallery.

Okay, Marso, finished it and loved it as always. One nitpick/question. In Ep IV Obi-Wan tells Luke that he made a mistake and thought he could train Anakin as well as Yoda could. In the real Ep 1 (yours) you have Yoda refusing to teach Anakin and assigning Obi-Wan to him.:confuzzle:

    Where's the contradiction?

Clearly, somewhere along the way Obi-wan let's Yoda's faith in him go to his head.

Obi-wan's exact words in EP VI were: "I thought I could train him as well as Yoda. I was wrong."

That's it. Anything else you read into it is inferred, and the same rule applies to me. I have inferred differently than most in this case because I like the way it all comes together. Yoda never once mentioned in the OT that he should have trained Anakin, or would have, or anything else. All we know from the canon OT is that Anakin was Obi-wan's student. How that came about is unknown if you disregard the canon PT.

Glad you liked it, BTW. One of these days I'll get around to starting EP II.

I hear ya. I guess the inference that I took from the comment in Ep 4 was that at some point Obi-Wan decided to teach Anakin instead of letting Yoda do it.

BTW, as for starting Ep 2 some day, why not today.

I personally don't think Obi-wan ever got to 'let' Yoda do or not do anything!! :P

Well, I'm the simulator all this week and I've been re-editing the Buck Rogers story. Next month I'm taking the family on a cruise. Just busy right now, is all. Real life intrudes...
