And you don't think that it's a good idea to let kids know which teachers they can approach to help with being bullied? I think you're imposing your strawman definition of safe space. If a kid knows that Ms. Smith has a safe space poster, but Ms. Jones doesn't, the kid is more likely to go to Ms. Smith who then should be able to address the situation appropriately (i.e., reporting the bullying to the administration, which any sane person would do, rather than just telling them to toughen up).

As @matthunter pointed out, workplaces have such complaint procedures in place, not just because it's the right thing to do, but because it's illegal to harass someone because of various protected categories. So yes, in adulthood, there are mechanisms for reporting and correcting illegal behavior.

I'll bite, how do you effectively deal with bullies?

Edit: and since the consequences for putting the wrong policies in place are so dire for kids involved, citations to studies, psychologists, or any other expert evidence you consider relevant is appreciated.

No, do not ever go to Human resources with your complaint. That is not a safe space. I have been there and made that mistake. Making a complaint in the workplace puts a big old fire me target on your back.

Your safe space is your lawyers office where you pay for them to protect you.

They also have to get any teacher who mentions the abrahamic religions fired under the new law for the indoctrination of sexual materials and inapropriate discussions of sexuality and gender identification with children.

The use of their law against their goals is the best way to undermine them.
