I love how @gul was whining how @The Flashlight doesn't post and just neg reps everyone. Now @The Flashlight is posting again and @gul is still whining.
Also, besides Flashie, Gul probably uses neg rep the most. Yet he loves to project and accuse others of doing what he is guilty of. He still won't own up to telling me tough negs are part of wordforge when Flashlight was negging me compulsively (at Gul's request, apparently) yet when Gul gets rep bombed then mod powers get whipped out and user accounts need to get editted. Such a hypocrite and whiner.
I've given out fewer than you, actually. And Captain X has given out as many as you and I put together. But none of us come close to the Flashlight, who has given out more than half of all negs at Wordforge. There's playful poking, then there is total derangement.
This all started last night after I rep bombed him following flashy's rep bombing, so it must have been that that made him lose it.
Castle deserved it but not for the original offense. The original offense was just Castle being a tool and he should have gotten a short vacation. At that time it was wrong of Gul to rage ban him thus abusing his powers. Later Castle posted personal information and that was worthy of a perma ban but that came after.
I agree they are playful pokes for the most part but over the recent period you have definitely used them more than me.
One would think a self-styled libertarian would understand that the board is under private ownership and any poster's continued existence here is at the discretion of the owners. Piss off the owners continuously enough, and you have no right to whine if the ban hammer falls.
Nobody is arguing against that, but there must be standards and even handedness across the board. The first ban was straight up bullshit.
You can actually check it yourself. Just look at your profile page, then look at mine. I was looking at the dumb reps (flashlight's favorite), of which you have given more. If we add all the various neg categories, I do come out having given slightly more than you, but only by a few dozen, or about 20 minutes of work for flashy.
I don't particularly remember that, but are you suggesting that staff should take action when somebody abuses the rep function? We happen to agree on this, sorry if I was slow to pick up on it.

What's unclear is why you wanted action then, but not now. Anyway, like I said, I don't even remember it -- I don't actually pay much attention to you, and was unaware that you were one of the dozen or so people on flashlight's hit list. But problem solved, you're welcome.
