Maybe the solution is that if we're going to reduce the number of guns on the street available to the public, then we should do the same to the cops, because it's clear that unarmed black folks would be in even greater danger. Maybe move to what the UK has where police don't carry guns unless they're specific tactical teams (Brits can correct me if I'm wrong). That way, fewer guns available to potential school shooters, and fewer chances where a cop shoots a black man for the crime of standing.

Not related to this incident but just a general indictment of our medical system.
