Pretty much the same setup I posted in TBBS a week ago except I changed the wallpaper. Gentoo Linux+KDE 3.5 with Mac OSX decorations. I was running the OpenGL driven Compiz-fusion 3D desktop shown here but that wasn't stable enough for everyday use. :(

Bumped on account of the unbearable cuteness of my goddaughter, whose now makes a pretty good desktop:

Edit: Ack! That's the last time I get lazy and use MS Paint for anything! Not shrinking the canvas with the picture? ?$!@!$#!

Here's my current one which I just found. I think it's pretty cool.

After I draw a new picture, I like to keep it on my desktop for a while.
As for the desktop itself, always clean.

I believe it is on interfacelift.com; they have a huge collection of stunning hi-res widescreen wallpapers. If you can't find it PM me and I'll email it to you.

Here's mine. I'm a bit of a neat freak, so my desktop stays pretty bare.

What size do you want it?
Mine is 1920x1200, you want that or a 1280x1024 or something?

The present one is a screen capture from the series pilot for Nero Wolfe. Wolfe & Archie are being hired to tangle with J. Edgar Hoover & the F.B.I.

Speaking of the pilot of the series, have you seen The Golden Spiders? Being a fan of the books, that movie was jarringly wrong.

A little, but you've got to admit they really stepped up their game when they took it to a series.

Ah yes, the lovely lasses of Nero Wolfe!

The lovely Kari Matchet as Lily Rowan from Christmas Party:

The way under-used Dina Barington as Belinda Reade from Champagne for One:

Francie Swift as Margot Dickey from Christmas Party:

And for my money, the best looker of the lot, and best that Cynthia Watros has ever looked on TV, shown here as the doomed Phobe Gunther in The Silent Speaker:
