FF pretends to understand why he is is thought of a joke here, promises to change, stops posting for a while, and then comes back posting some new QAnon or Joe Rogan bullshit, which he immediately tries to distance himself from by pulling a Glenn Beckian "I'm just asking questions don't shoot the messenger" schtick.

I think we all can agree that there are some legitimate criticisms towards the FBI while also admitting than in this case, it doesn’t appear that the search is politically motivated. Trump or one of his lawyers misled them.

God forbid there should be some nuance in this thread.
And no my intention was not to endorse that opinion piece even though there are some statements or general philosophies I agree with. The point was to throw it out there to see what people had to say about it. Instead it turned into a shit show about me and my opinions.

It’s an opinion piece that contains some facts within.

Contains some facts is different to just stating facts.

If I say "the Earth is the third planet from the sun, home to the human race, and has a core of sweet caramel" the statement is mostly facts, but saying it is "just stating facts" would be pretty damn incorrect.

If you're now saying that it isn't just stating facts then I think it's clear what you actually believe as well, and would just ask that you please read things before endorsing them in future.

Just so we’re crystal clear, the only way Trump could be a victim is if he was misled by his lawyer or someone who told him that the documents were declassified and that’s what he believed. That is a distinct possibility; however, I don’t think that’s likely.
Even if somehow that turns out to be the case, the espionage act doesn’t make any kind of distinction like that and therefore Trump would still have committed a crime because ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
I also want to be clear that I believe that the search was justified.

It actually isn't clear what he actually believes.

1. He might believe that the opinion piece is just stating facts still but has grown tired of having it pointed out that there are a whole bunch of nonsense in the piece.
2. He might never have believed that the opinion piece is "just stating facts" and have been trolling all along.
3. He might have originally believed that the opinion piece is "just stating facts" but had his mind changed.
4. He might have sloppily contended that the opinion piece was mostly factual when he said it was "just stating facts" and he may still believe that the opinions expressed therein are still true.

The easiest way for there to be at least a superficial expression of what he believes is for him to say what he believes. (Naturally, he still could be lying, trolling, confused, etc. about it).

But he seems to have an aversion to simply saying "I think the FBI treated Trump fairly/unfairly" or whatever the hell he believes akin to a vampire's aversion to garlick-covered crosses in sunlight.

From m what it looks like, Trump was given ample opportunity to hand over the documents so yes, the FBI did treat him fairly.

So, all that leaves is Trump being in trouble makes Democrats happy, and that throws FF into cognitive dissonance no matter what.

The judge is now demanding that Trump explain why he filed this motion in her district. Trump thought that by filing one county over, and landing a judge he’d appointed, it would work in his favor. Instead the judge is telling Trump to get off her lawn.
