Timothy Hutton. Maybe. The denial is quite emphatic. https://variety.com/2020/biz/news/timothy-hutton-accused-1203521082/ https://www.latimes.com/entertainme.../timothy-hutton-rape-accusation-sera-johnston
He took the extortion claim to the FBI. Risky move if he has something to hide. My guess is there was sex, that it was consensual (and legal based on Canada's law), and that she attempted to profit from it. Even if he is guilty of rape, it's a bit late to be bringing it up 37 years later. That's why we have statutes of limitations.
We shouldn't for rape and molestation. I mean, for stealing a loaf of bread if you're starving, or denting someone in the parking lot, yeah, sure. But fucking rape? Come the fuck on.
I guess if you can prove it was rape decades later then we should prosecute it. If that is the case then we should not limit it. If there was evidence taken way back when that was never prosecuted until now then I could see charging that person. If you are making the claim today and there is no way of collecting definitive evidence of rape then it is way beyond a legal charge of rape. Put it out into public if you want, but legal charges now could not even make the determination it was forceful over normal intercourse. That does not even make it rape if it was really rough. I would say that presently the statute of limitations should not exist only because there were many reported cases where evidence was taken that we might be able to charge today with new technology that was not available back then. At some point that is going to end because the police will have caught up.
I agree with you in principle. But the practicality is that you simply can’t prove an allegation like that in court 37 years later. We live in a harsh world.
I’m of two minds on this. It’s true that it can take rape victims a long time to find the courage to come forward, so it is understandable why someone would take a long time to come forward. At the same time, if you were accused of doing something that long ago, how could you prove your innocence? Doesn’t matter if the crime was rape or murder or trespassing. I’m 51 years old and if someone today accused me of murder when I was 20, I’d have a tough time coming up with a defense. I’ve lost touch with a number of people I knew back then who might provide me with an alibi and some of the best people to do that are now dead. You go back that far and the standard of evidence really needs to be high. If not physical evidence, then something that shows a pattern of behavior consistent with what a person is accused of.
Well, think about it. Rape (usually) occurs with no witnesses. But so does consensual sex. If there was nothing made of it at the time, there's nothing to differentiate those two cases. How is a man so accused supposed to defend himself? Especially when many think the mere accusation means he's guilty. We have statutes of limitations because witnesses die, memories fade, evidence vanishes. It's unfair to the accused to demand they prove their innocence, especially many years after the fact. But if someone is truly looking for justice for rape, they should take it to law enforcement, and not attempt to extort money from their (claimed) rapist.
Why is Bill Clinton not on the list? Here is a good case for why he should be on the list. He might have actually raped women and his actions with monika were certainly the actions of a powerful man over a woman.
So, the names have been named. -Charlie Sheen (I'd actually heard this before). -Marty Weiss. -Alphy & Bob Hoffman -Jon Grissom -Dominick Brascia (I Googled him, and he was the retarded guy in "Friday The 13th Part 5", which Feldman cameo-ed in) https://www.cracked.com/article_27102_6-nice-characters-who-were-actually-giant-dirtbags.html
Yeah, about Corey's documentary, it supposedly got hacked. Other news reports I've read say that Corey was unable to show the film to the audience at the premiere, not merely that it couldn't be streamed to people online. I don't know. I'm not going to doubt that he was molested, but there's an awful lot about him that's sketchy, so I'm not really buying his claims about the documentary.
These were all people who were around him and I don't think they are huge names except for charlie. Why would calling most of them out now really benefit him aside from getting it out there? If he wanted to sell his documentary to more people you would want bigger names than the guy who played the father on license to drive. As for charlie sheen I just thing he fucked anything that moved in his popular days back then. Not to let him off the hook, but he is wasted at drug/sex parties and he probably has a number of wrong hook ups given where he was partying. As for the other guys the reason they did not do many big things was they were just hanging around for the young stars as he claims. Why not audition for a bullshit role here and there to make some money and keep yourself around? That could explain the roles they got. I believe the guy. His troubles seem to be more the problems of an abuse victim with a connection to drugs, money, and hollywood. One thing pedos like to do is threaten their victims. These guys may be nobodies now, but if you are the kid in hollywood with a whole bunch of liars and backstabbers around, how do you know one of these guys does not have some clout. Maybe you don't know if one of these guys happens to have the ear of a harvey weinstein. They might have had connections with the drug dealers, or looked like they had power. Even if he is wrong about who they were, I think it is probably because he lived in a world of liars and people who love to overpromote themselves. It is a little late for him to get any legal charges or lawsuits for it, but so far I believe him.
Effectively a life sentence. For anyone who wanted justice for Harvey's crimes this is about as good as it gets.
They should carve epstein was here on whatever he hung himself on and then put weinstein in that cell. Just for the shawshank burn!
I'm not sure if he's ever been added, but if not: Joe Biden. Time’s Up Said It Could Not Fund a #MeToo Allegation Against Joe Biden, Citing Its Nonprofit Status and His Presidential Run Source: https://theintercept.com/2020/03/24/joe-biden-metoo-times-up/
hmmm.....if he doesn't have enough to be concerned about in jail then the penal system is FUBAR (more than usual).
