You'd think that at some point we'd get a President who realizes that the biggest issue in southwest Asia affecting U.S. and world security concerns is the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, and that maybe we shouldn't be throwing fuel on that fire just because we're pissy about Iraq and Iran. The consequences of our extended stays in Afghanistan and Iraq for our Pakistan and India policy have been monumentally disastrous, not that such policy was doing much good before that.
Obama fails. He's used to it, as are we. Of course, to be fair operational requirements, parts, price etc likely played the biggest role in this.
Ah, so India's air force is run by a budget airline company called SpiceJet. It makes so much sense now.
I love it. When Obama goes to India to assist in sealing major manufacturing deals, it's "why is he spending my money to go to India?? They would have happened anyway!!" Then when one falls through (as business deals sometimes do) it's Obama's fault. Ah, the addled mind of the conservative.
^ The point, oh useless fruit, is that in all likelihood Obama's trip changed nothing. Thus the money was wasted and his claim of helping business is proven false. Now, personally I think it's stupid to nitpick presidential trips like this, but for those who do the rationale is sound.
Yet you blame him for one of the deals not happening. How could it be his fault if his going there "changed nothing?" Yet you continue to nitpick this and everything else the president does. So who exactly is stupid?

^ I wouldn't blame him except that he claimed credit for doing that. If he tries to claim credit for something and it falls through, of course he should take the heat.
