Son of a bitch, the fan bitching worked. "Zack Snyder's Justice League", is coming to HBOMax in 2021. Now, watch it suck, and the fanboys convince themselves it's good, like Phantom Menace in the first couple weeks. https://www.cbr.com/justice-league-...ymkHTR5i9tMBVgz6WHRcTD7je0xIu6RIF7bqlWsZxUgSU
Imagine the first thing you think or talk about when it comes to movies is “fanboys” rather than the movie itself That’s just sad There’s a shitty subsection of you people who think like this and i just feel sorry for you wankers you guys should just try enjoying life for once
1. Happy to hear this and will definitely watch. 2. I would not expect a picture worlds better than what was theatrically released.
I don't now how he's finished the thing. Its been my understanding all along that to finish the effects on his cut would cost 150 million minimum. I'm expecting something jury-rigged like the Richard Donner cut of Superman 2.
No hate here, but I found the theatrical release so utterly forgettable that, I kid you not, I just had to google what movie this thread is talking about. I did see JL in the theater, and after the preceding Avengers offerings, I just didn't dig it.
Ah, just saw that WB is paying 30 million to complete it. Well...fuck, if it was that close, why didn't they just fucking finish it in the first place?
I'd like to think that the Snyder Cut will be a great improvement, but I know it won't be. I didn't like Justice League, and I find it hard to believe that this will make me like it. I liked Man of Steel and Wonder Woman, never saw Aquaman. Still a Marvel fanboy at heart.
It's completely understandable in this case. "Release the Snyder cut" has been a weird niche fanboy obsession for years. If Paramount announced an all-male "Star Trek: Space Battles" series, wouldn't you immediately think of Dayton?
So is this going to make it not a "comic book" movie like the dark knight, or is it still going to be a superhero movie with lots of sparkly magic and no real gritty depth? There were parts to superman I liked and appreciated, like how he was not able to save everyone, and him killing zod. BvS went into godfighting over a human populace after trying to reign that sort of thing in. I am tired of the same old superheroes. The dark knight was cool because the joker and batman did not have super powers. Their battles were relatable with car chases and explosions. Even the original Ironman was cool because Tony Stark was a man.
I saw the movie once and have completely forgotten what it was about, other than a few scenes of Superman's resurrection or some such thing.
Justice League was okay--and, given the chaos behind the scenes, better than it had any right to be--but for a film featuring those iconic characters to fall short of greatness was disappointing. I want to see the Snyder Cut because I seem to be on Zack Snyder's wavelength. I've really liked the superhero films he's made so far. I saw Watchmen in a movie theater more times than any other film with the exception of The Empire Strikes Back. I know I'm in the minority, but I not only like Batman v Superman, I consider it (the Extended Edition) one of the classics of the genre. Do I think the Snyder Cut is going to be a revelation? No. It may not be any better than the theatrical release. But it will be very close to the film Zack Snyder intended to make. And it may be unfulfilling in another way: Snyder's plan was for this to lead into another film, so we're likely to get teased for a sequel that will never happen.
I haven't really been happy with anything Snyder has done lately, but I'll give it a whirl if possible. Not paying for another service, tho. Got enough. The only thing I've actually liked about any of the DC movies is Gal Godot. She's far and away the best thing that ever happened to the DC movie universe.
I think there might be some stuff with Darkseid as well. That's probably why they need to work on the effects. Also, there might be some re-shoots as well. I'm not sure if this will be a better film, but hopefully it will be a more complete, cohesive vision. I think some things Wheadon added hurt the film. I hope it's good. I'll definitely check it out.
One thing I am curious about. Will we get the Junkie XL score? He said he had it all done and recorded, but it was synced to the Snyder version, which is why we got the Danny Elfman version on the Whedon cut.
All I can see about it is that Snyder's version was darker, Flash had more storytime and there were fewer quips. Sounds enchanting. An even darker DC Movie universe than we got. How did Marvel get a more fun, less dark, more hopeful universe than DC? When they crossed over in the comics, the Marvel guys were agog that the citizens of the DC 'verse revered their heroes.
Alleged differences according to www.snydercut.com/ Jason Momoa says it’s a totally different movie. Original cinematographer, Fabian Wagner, says only 10% of his shots were in the final version. Joss Whedon added nearly 80 new script pages. The industry rule of thumb is one minute of runtime per page, and the theatrical cut was 120 minutes. Snyder has revealed his version is 214 minutes long. Multiple characters were cut by Whedon, including Darkseid, Ares, Desaad, Antiope, Ryan Choi, Elinore Stone, Iris West, and Vulko.
Wow, if all that is true, it probably will be a completely different film. One concern I might have: despite Snyder getting considerable resources to get this through post-production, he (apparently) doesn't have the cast for any reshoots, redubbing, etc. Is the existing Snyder cut complete as far as performances are concerned? I presume so...
I like it when you post YT videos. You're a hero, and everyone loves you. All hail We Are Borg! Hail! Hail! ( )
I watched this entire video, and it makes some excellent points. That you for bringing it to our attention.
When it comes to DC the animated stuff blows the live action stuff out of the water. The Justice League animated series has everything you need. The live action movie is so forgettable in every way.
Yes because Dayton would be in the news because he would have cum so hard the roof of the Waffle House would have entered into space and hit the space station.
