Alabama goes to Huck Connecticut, Jersey and Illinois goes to McCain Mass goes to Romney Oklahoma and Tennessee go to the Hildabeast Illinois goes to B. Hussein Obama
Rudy was supposed to take Delaware until he dropped out. I'd be surprised if Romney took it, but happy- anybody but McHuckster. Missouri is VERY unstable and unpredictable...impossible to call via exit polls.
The fire works start at 8:00 PM CST. California is basically going to decide both nominations I think. Whoever wins there runs right off to the convention.
WTF? Minnesota results just changed completely. 1% reporting, Romney had 22, Huckabee had 21, Paul had 20, and Huck had 19. Now Paul has 15, Romney has 10, McCain has 9, Huckabee has 16... with 0% reporting.
Turnout was very high in my voting precinct. When I got there at about 11:45 there were about 30 people ahead of me. The line moved quickly and I was out of there by about 12:05. The ID check ladies said that it has been steady all day. Don't count teh Mitten out in Arizona.
So are things going good or bad for Obama? I've been on staff duty from 0900 yesterday to 0900 today and then asleep most of the day. From what I've caught it's not looking too good.
He's been called the winner in Georgia, Alabama, Delaware and Illinois. Clinton has been called in NY, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mass, and NJ. He leads big in Idaho (but only 9% in), Minn (12) and Kansas (52%), as well as holding a slight lead in Conn. (56% in) Clinton leads Missouri handily with 1/3 of the vote reported. I would not call it a bad night so far.
Yep...no big surprises yet on either side. The closest thing to a surprise is how well McCain is doing in the South. He just won Oklahoma.
Obama gets North Dakota, and almost surely Minnesota. If he maintains in Connecticut, he'll be doing just fine heading into California. Missouri looks like a Clinton win, but only 5% of the St. Louis City is in, and it's 68% Obama so far, and only 15% of Saint Louis County is in, and 56% Obama so far.
Huck giving a speech about the 2nd Amendment being just as important as the 1st. Seems like he could sweep the south, too.
Brit Hume is practially begging all the pundits around him to tell him there's a chance McCain won't win it.
If Romney doesn't do really well in California, he'll be right about it being a two man race, but he won't be one of the two
Bet on it. He has a lot of money to burn off and he has a campagin running for his seat here at the same time, as he put it, Plan B.
Figures that the SecState website in CA wouldn't have returns from tonight. Debra Brown's webmaster sucks.
Obama is closing in Missouri...and all that's left to count is St. Louis, Kansas City, and Columbia, and Obama leads big in all of them
My good news of the night: Hillary's performance defusing for the moment the MSM's orgasmic Obamamania. My bad news of the night: Fuckabee sweeping the South and increasing the chances that Old Man McCain will make him his running mate.
