Also remember they came from Atlanta...if they wanted to find a secure structure to set up house in there were lots there. Experience taught them that those sorts of places were usually crawling with walkers. I'll be interested in seeing what gets them into the prison in the first place, I wouldn't be setting foot in a death trap like that. Maybe they'll encounter a herd that forces them to take shelter.

    Merle? Looks like it.

Looks like he's got some kind of cage/blade set-up in place of his severed hand. :chris:

The only characters that can redeem this show at this point.

Who am I kidding, they'll find some way to fuck up Michonne and the Governor somehow. :garamet:

Having seen a couple of images of "The Governor" from the comics, I got the impression that the guy who plays "Pope" in Falling Skies would have made a good Governor.

Just finished Season Two. Absolutely terrific show. I heard there was a production shake-up early in this season, but it didn't seem to hurt the quality of the show. I thought, if anything, this was an improvement over Season One (which, btw, I really liked, too).

That moment when the walkers are let out of that barn and the last one emerges and...absolutely soul-crushing. Completely unexpected, devastatingly poignant, and (therefore) hugely satisfying. It's a rare TV show that gets that kind of emotional response from me. And that finale! Man, are things ever looking bleak!

    Bring on Season 3!

Did you marathon through the episodes? The first half of season 2 was so slow and drawn out with a week in between episodes.

The biggest loss from the start of season 2 was due to production problems. The opening episode was meant to show Rick returning to that retirement home before they left Atlanta. Most of the footage ended up unusable though.

Wow. I hate that. The retirement home could have yielded some fantastic things - from emotionally moving to tactically entertaining.

    If you will, or would.

I did "marathon" through them. I thought the first half of season 2 moved along fine.
I just rewatched S1 episode "Vatos" (the one with the retirement home) last night.

Less than two weeks. If you don't know, there's a marathon of all the S1 and S2 episodes the day before the S3 premiere). :zombie:
