We have a whistle blower that says the government has retrieved craft of non-human origin.
More at the link, but I just want to highlight a few things in this article.
This lines up with stories that have been told over the years of defense contractors working various projects, but they are compartmentalized so that nobody really knows what it is. Bigelow Aerospace comes to mind. Robert Bigelow believes that aliens are already here. Why would he think that? Yeah maybe he's an old coot or maybe he's in the know.

Is this guy credible? Well, here's what the Army's liaison to the UAP task force said.
The inspector General found his complaint, "credible and urgent."

I mean if it's true I'd be absolutely fascinated to see what they're doing with the recovered material and if/how it's been worked in to use in our daily lives

It's crazy how the gov't is declassifying all this shit, we've got whistle blowers, strange videos etc etc and people aren't going nuts over this. I feel like if this was the 90s or before it would be HUGE news

The Guardian reports that a real, honest to God insider with a long government career and plenty of character witnesses who attest that he is not a crackpot is saying that the government has partial and complete alien craft. I’m not on my regular computer so I can’t post a link, but if anyone can be arsed to look up the Guardian story please post a link. It definitely takes things up a notch. :corn:

I missed your post too. Sorry.

Not that I give the story any credence.

Heinlein called summertime the silly-season due to all the daft reports of green men in the news.

    It's almost summertime.

You mean how the Air Force lies to the public for fifty years then tells one story then later on changes their story leaving the impression that they still haven’t told the truth?

I trained at my home dojo in Tampa with a guy who was involved in the same program as Dames. My friend thought Dames is nuts. Considering how easy it is to dismiss the whole concept of "remote viewing" as non sense, I found that an interesting assessment. :spock:

I was listening to Art Bell when Dames had his "moment in the sun." He and some college professor from like Colorado were huge rivals in the early days of "remote viewing" get popular attention. The professor was really nuts, he claimed that there was an underground civilization on Mars, and that the government was covering it up. Then came comet Hale-Bopp. The college professor produced a photograph of what he said was the comet showing like an alien spacecraft following it. Naturally, as a frequent guest on Art's show, he forwarded it to him.

Art then asked Ed Dames if the thing in the image was what he was talking about. Dames said that it wasn't. There was some back-and-forth debate between all of them for the next few days or weeks, I don't remember. The professor claimed that a "whistleblower" had confidentially slipped him the image because it proved the government was covering things up. Then things got juicy. One of Art's frequent guests was an Australian who believed that if you played a recording of someone talking backwards, you could understand what they were thinking when they were speaking. Just the dumbest possible scam you could imagine, but people bought it. How do I know? Because that was one of the guy's Art used to expose the professor as a fraud!

He played recordings backwards of what the guy said on previous shows and said that this proved the guy was lying. I don't remember how long this went on, but it went on for several minutes. Then Art put's a guy on who says he's the guy who took the photo. He was an astronomer at some university, if you go to the university's website, you can see the photo was posted on such-and-such a date, and that proved he was the photographer. When someone pointed out that the images looked slightly different, the guy then explained how if you downloaded the image, opened it in Paint, rotated it 180 degrees, and did a couple more really simple things you could duplicate the image exactly. (Oh, and the backwards tape guy was recording things the new guy was saying and playing them back while going, "See! This proves that he's telling the truth!")

Naturally, this gets Art and the others to demand the professor give up the name of the person who gave him the photo. Guy breaks down in tears, saying he can't reveal his confidential sources, but it was all true! It didn't matter whatever else anyone was saying, it was all true! And you'll see! Art kicked the guy off and told him he couldn't come back until he gave up the name. AFAIK, he never did.

This, of course, boosted Ed's popularity immensely and "proved" that he was right about remote viewing. Ed was now in business, literally. He formed a company with some other people, produced this massive, multi-part VHS training series that costed hundreds of dollars, so that you too, could be a remote viewer! And he made pretty good money off the stuff, because people were calling into Art's show and talking about how great it was. How they were able to find things that had been lost for years. Then something happened. I'm not sure what, but Ed came on the show and said that there were some issues with the company, he left it, and started his own new company that was going to sell all kinds of new stuff, survival pills, and other psychic training courses. Something happened shortly after that, with the company having some issues and the folks from the previous company suing him over things that he'd said. Whatever it was, it wasn't enough to get him booted from Art's show. And he was soon back with some very grim news.

You see, when the alien probe we thought was a comet, passed close to the Earth, it was going to eject a cylinder with some kind of toxin that was going to kill most of the plants on Earth. One of the only places where one could ride out such a disaster (in a specially equipped Bond-villain cave) was, wait for it, Tahiti! Ed had sold all of his shit and was moving there to await the end of the world. (And if it wasn't Tahiti, it was some other tropical island nation where the women go around half naked all the time.)

And Ed did. He supposedly ran some kind of business while he was there. He called into Art's show from there a bunch. Then, like a year or so after the day we were all supposed to die came and went, Ed returned to the States. I don't remember how he talked his way out us not being dead, and then launched whatever his new scam was.

I worked a lot of overnights during tha Art Bell show. There was amazingly good radio alongside some brain damaged bullshit…especially his scaremongering over Y2K. When it turned out to be a flop he claimed the government covered up all the problems that happened because of it.

And I say I am on topic, and that if the government has aliens and alien technology like you claim, then they are perfectly valid questions. You say that the aliens are here helping us, I say it's a legitimate to ask what, exactly, they're doing to help us. You claim that we were able to reverse engineer their technology. This means that they are technologically closer to us than uncontacted tribes in the Amazon are to us. I can say this because you can drop a smartphone in their midst, and they won't be any more significantly advanced thirty years later than they are when they find the phone. Yet, according to folks like you, if it wasn't for the stuff that the government supposedly found at Roswell, we wouldn't have been able to land on the Moon in '69. This can only mean that we either had direct help from the aliens, or we were close enough to their tech to figure it out. This means we're awfully close to being capable of interstellar travel. So, what things is the government researching to make this happen? And why isn't the government pouring as much money into research on that as we do on the military?

How are these not legitimate questions in response to your claims? How are these different than the questions any of us ask when there's something like a natural disaster or terrorist attack in the news?
