I really don't know what the situation is/was (like I said I'm not on the inside there). However, if you feel that you might have made a mistake, I would say you have nothing to lose by sending Spiff a polite note explaining your side of the story. And no, I'm not suggesting groveling or doing any overwrought mea culpa. Just take the high road and see where it leads.
I was unaware. And I feel truly terrible for carrying on with my frivilous crap while the man was suffering. He was person of authority and respect why would I not take his offer seriously?
I have no way of sending him any kind of note. And anything I do at this time would be seen as an attempt to curry favor in hopes of being allowed to return. As a result it would be pointless. You must've disagreed with her opinion, or with something that she was told to believe. Unlike other parts of the board, TNZ, is more or less a mob rule mentality. Those who are admitted are approved by the majority of those who post there.

I don't read most of the threads in there anymore, but when I do, and you're name is brought up, it's usually in connection with Squiggy and when someone called his boss to let them know how much time he was spending here. TNZ is split pretty much 50/50 over whether it was you or Kirk. and Kirk, every time you open your mouth, you make garamet's version of events that much more convincing. At first, I doubted her story. I thought there had to have been something that happened at the meetup that she misinterpreted or misunderstood. But, I know how the conversations between you and I went, I have no doubts. In fact, you came right out and said you don't like anyone who has a different political opinion than you do. My issues with Sandbagger have nothing to do with his politics and, I would think he knows that. I'm pretty certain he does knows what I'm talking about. It wasn't me. I've never bothered anyone in real life. And interestingly enough, the only time anyone ever tried anything like that against me was when someone sent my principal part of a thread from the The Red Room here and claimed that I advocated terrorism.
