You're a proven liar. Yes of course it has nothing at all with you being full of fertilizer. Umm hmm. Yes, your full of crap and it has been demonstrated quite clearly that you are full of crap. It's rare to see someone destroy themselves so thoroughly on page one of a thread.
^See what I left behind ladies and gentlemen. Now multiply dipshit up there by thirty and you've got TNZ.
I wouldn't bother with him, John. He seems to have forgotten the few people actually tolerated his dumb ass over there. He's like and abused child who grows up to become an even more sadistic bully. It's sad, really. I can't believe I defended his dumb ass over and over.
Same. I defended him for a long time, too. Then somewhere around election 2008 he just went over the side of a cliff and became what he is now. So I'm not going to start off the new year like that. I'm done with him.
Posting at TBBS is like jumping into a septic tank: it helps if you pinch your nose and hold your breath.
Yes yes history's greatest monster gotcha. :smoking: Happily for all my reign of terror is finally over forever. Right up until I spoke out against the great god Obama. Yeah about that you guys are the ones who went nutso. I simply took the needed steps to deal with the lunacy which had erupted around me. Considering that you've exposed yourself as a complete lying sack of shit in this our first interaction since the election skulking off to find a nice rock to crawl under is your best option. :smoking:
Did you come up with that one all on your own? Or did one of your brain trust assist you with that thought Jenee.
A couple of things in regards to comments made on this topic. First and foremost is for those who are being critical of the OP. If you dislike reading topics such as this, why bother reading and posting in threads like these? Second, regarding tbbs, and TNZ. The board is clearly one that is set up to provide its owner an income stream. The people who post on that board are customers. Much like Google, while there is no direct charge to those who visit the board, the board receives revenue based in part by people who visit the board via the boards commercial advertisers. As such the customers at that board need to be kept happy. T'Bonz is doing what she believes is necessary to keep the majority of the people there happy. I would say to a certain extent WF is somewhat run similarly in terms of the board ownership attempting to keep the largest segment of the population at the board happy. How many times have suggestions, "protests", lobbying and etc. been waged against Lanzman, Elwood, Borgs, and Cass that spawned changes to management, policy, and enforcement over the years? There is nothing wrong with what T'Bonz has done. She is doing what she believes is best for that board. Just as Lanzman, Tamar and the rest of WF staff does.
Oh yeah. I was there all during the Bush v. Gore battle because I was suspended with pay from my job with Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse for several weeks for roughing up a shoplifter.
At most jobs I know of, suspension with pay is typical unless you've committed an obvious criminal act. I made a mistake in roughing up a shoplifter. In Arkansas, the law is that once a shopper has shown intent to steal, they can be restrained and detained by paid employees of the store or company. They don't have to actually leave or attempt to leave the business with merchandise. If they try to conceal merchandise from view, then store employees may infer intent and take action. Not so in Texas (where I was working at Lowe's). In Texas, a customer can put stuff in their clothes. Stick it in a bag. Do anything...as long as they don't leave the store. Until they exit the store with merchandise not paid for, the employees can do nothing to attempt to stop him. At least this was the law in the late 1990s. I caught a guy taking a small cordless drill out of the box and putting it inside his jacket. I grabbed his arm and hauled him to the office and forced him to remain there. Ironically, about a year before, I broke a finger in a fight with another shoplifter outside the store. Of course, then I was acting under direct orders by the management to "stop him at all costs". I stopped him but when he collapsed from my chokehold they made me let him go. Ah, now those were good times.
Anyone who would tel an employee to stop a shoplifter "at all costs" is a shit head. Of course, if you had gotten fatally beaten up but had time to tell the Mrs. what happened, she would have been set for life after that lawsuit. Every store employee has an obligation to be alert for shrinkage whether it's from shoppers or co-workers, but unless someone is trying to steal something really big, the risks to everyone concerned are way too great for anyone to start playing superhero. (Not saying you were Dayton) In a situation like that who's to say bullets don't start flying and innocent bystanders get hurt. I can't think of anything anyone could slip inside their coat at Lowe's that would be worth that.
You're going to laugh, Dayton, but have you ever considered getting armed guard certification and doing that?
Loss Prevention agents in Florida work for the store, but carry handcuffs (maybe even Tazers for all I know) and have a de-facto arrest authority, although they don't carry guns. If some manager "ordered" me to stop someone in that situation, I might "order" them to shove it up their ass unless I was working for LP. As a business owner I'm sure you would weigh benefits versus potential loss before trying to stop someone. (Whether your decision would be the same as mine is not relevant. I'm just saying you would think about it,and not just mindlessly order an employee to do something so potentially dangerous)
I did get training for security from some firm a few years ago when I was unemployed but it wasn't armed. It was more along the lines of "observe & report". I can't work for an armored car company or anything like that. My credit isn't good enough. I'll stick with education.
Hmmm, how many left leaning freaks have been banned over there vs righties? Sandbagger, one thing that JFraud is correct about is that it's a private board and they can eject people at will. One wishes they would do it in a more honest manner though. If a person breaks the rules aren't they supposed to be warned before they're banned, at least according to the rules as stated? This certainly wasn't my experience. Banned. No warnings. Whatever.
There was one guy who was simply an outright troll. Named Garm Iblis he was kind of a lefty. Looking back on it. An email from Spiff or T'Bonz saying you lost the bet been nice knowing you. Would have been nice since I was not leaving due to an infraction.
For whatever reason you were leaving it would be nice. Paxil was banned too, but he was a druggie so I give him a pass as far as being able to control himself. lol
You're right, but I have a business with no reason for walkin customers and I work in a rough part of town. I get a chuckle out of marine literature from Fallujah.
Well, there's always some idiot who doesn't realize that a business like yours has a lousy risk/reward ratio.
You stated that I wouldn't stop someone. I basically agreed with you by noting there was no one to stop, since we conduct our business via telephone. I have 10 phone salespeople selling for me, so there must be some kind of reward.
No argument. I was just pointing out that the risk/reward for holding up your shop would seem to keep someone from trying to knock it over, but the fact is that criminals are usually stupid and don't stop to think that they don't stand to gain any loot other than what people might have in their pockets. If it came down to whether to take action or not, I suspect you'd take care of it yourself rather than try to order an employee to do it for you.
Oh, no doubt. And I see what you were saying now, which was actually quite reasonable. Sorry I got offended - I thought you were saying my business sucked.
