Look, I get it. As you said in one of your first posts in this thread you simply cannot cross the line into calling fascism fascism because that would require you to accept that you have friends and family who support fascists. You can’t accept that because it would mean that you have to accept that you are the kind of person that can be friends with fascists.

As you said that is a line of self reflection you simply aren’t capable of crossing.

But at some point you will have to open your eyes to the clear and present danger facing your country right now. Even if it means accepting that your yourself might not be as strong as you thought you were. That you’d be willing to accept more than you’d like to accept in order to not have to rock the boat.

Actually, that’s not true. You don’t have to open your eyes. You can keep them squeezed tight, huddle under the blanket and just hope the rest of us will do the hard work to save you and America.
