I'm just astounded she didn't double down, say that going to Rhodes College makes you a Rhodes Scholar.

I think this kind of behavior from anyone in the Trump administration should be commended, not laughed at.

I don't see how being a Rhodes Scholar would appeal to your average Republican. Wasn't the Antichrist Himself, William Jefferson Clinton, a Rhodes Scholar? You know it ain't right to trust no intellectual types.

Dollars to donuts they had no idea what a Rhodes scholarship was until Clinton came along, and then it was "one of them furriner things." Now it's "Oh, yeah? Well we got one of them, too!"

The lunatic fringe of the evangelical right has a complex relationship with the idea of academic achievement, frequently demonstrating a deep yearning for its respectability at the same time as they denigrate it.

Yahoo news reports Trump and Melania are beginning "quarantine process" after Hope Hicks tests positive for Covid 19.

Trump tweeted late Thursday: “The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process.”

Earlier, during a call-in interview with Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity, Trump said: “Whether we quarantine or whether we have it, I don’t know. I just went for a test and we’ll see what happens.”

Trump has consistently played down concerns about being personally vulnerable to contracting COVID-19. “I felt no vulnerability whatsoever,” he told reporters back in May.

Say he gets the test results back tomorrow. A quarantine would end right about the day of the second debate. Whether he has it or not, it's a way to weasel out.

If he backs out due to the 'Rona, even some of his followers will have a 'hey, wait a minute' moment. And that might keep some of the home from the polls

The hardcore ones will interpret it as "he's worked so hard for our country!" and pray for him.

Notice he’s said nothing about taking hydro chloroquine.

- Covid is a hoax
- Covid will be gone in a month
- No need to wear a mask
- Inject bleach

I couldn't help but post a link to that clip on Frontline's FB page where he was outraged by the "ghouls" allegedly celebrating Trump's illness. I'm a terrible person.

The best he could do was dredge up a comment from Hillary's 2016 campaign mouthpiece saying "I hope he dies". My response was that it would be a terrible thing for somebody actually running for president to say that.

That's exactly the way he walked after the Tulsa rally.
