Anyways, in Shelter, I've already been reprimanded by Lanzman for calling you a drama queen and I have to remove the comment when I figure out how to do it but I have some bad news on the thread re-opening front. He said that he'd rather not overrule moderators or reopen threads unless the mod in question really screwed things up. Sorry man, but I tried my best to convince him otherwise. I know you are probably not happy about this and neither am I.

Seriously, though, Lanz, whenever you decide to upgrade the board, maybe pick something other than vBulletin. I've seen how much it costs, and maybe it's just me (and it could be), but it's not really worth it.

I don't want the thread reopened. There is already another thread. I want Clyde to tell me the reason it was shut, i.e the personal attack I am alleged to have made. There is a distinct difference.

Furthermore, questioning the behaviour of mods when the fail to address such questions, and are also permanent fixtures that never change, is not flaming. Clyde refusing to respond to the question - arrogant because he thinks teh board members are below his and has doesn't need to - therefore up his own arse. Not a flame, rather a recognition of his inability to answer my question repeatedly. Mods like Tamar being called everlasting gobstoppers is not a flame other I this a recognition that much like the sweet in question the modships here go on and on and on and on and on without change for a new sweet, even if they begin to taste sour.

Are we really getting to the stage where the membership should be told that they should be grateful for not being warned for tenuous alleged "flames" as a way of warding them off of asking questions? That doesn't doesn't right to me. You lot have the power to get rid of people here. That means that the membership should have confidence in you and be able to communicate to a satisfactory level. That is unless you think mods are untouchable and should not be questioned on what they do on the board?

I believe mods and admins should be questioned. You raise a legitimate point, and I don't see any personal attacks or inappropriate subject matter in your thread, hence my agreement that it should've never been closed.

I really don't think you could give me this board. Awhile back, when I was home working on settling out my Mom's estate I got to talking with my brother about selling his bar. He said he wanted an outright sale because "otherwise you sell it to someone and they run it into the ground and then you're stuck with it."
