Please identify the personal attack and explain the reason you closed my thread. Both Dayton and Captain X know that I am no great fan of JJTrek, so what is the assault?

Technically it isn't flaming if I say that Captain X is a thin-skinned homo. It is just pointing out the truth.

So let me get this straight. A guy who doesn't like JJTrek finds a video critical of JJTrek. He decides to share it, wanting to make sure it comes to the attention of our two most prominent JJTrek critics, and this is trolling? Clyde's barely even phoning it in at this point. Between this kind of thing and Paladin's extreme tactics, maybe we should close Media Central and transfer the threads to the Red Room.

I thought the video was funny and not at all trolling. I'm a bit shocked the thread is closed. After I watched the first video I watched more similar videos on YouChube (as it's pronounced in Wee Britain).

I'm just not sure how posting a video that's funny, topical, and might be popular w/ CaptainX is trolling.

It's like you're closing the thread for saying "CaptianX Doesn't like JJTrek and here's some reasons why."

The new standard is that any touchy topic with potential for trollery and flaming is no longer allowed. Clyde figures (probably correctly) that Chup has nothing but full and complete contempt for X and Dayton. Therefore, a thread directed to them can only be informed by this justifiable contempt. Conclusion, chup is planning to troll them. It makes no difference that he hasn't done so yet. What matters is that some day, somebody might troll them and they need protection from any possibility of butthurt.

This isn't about Clyde being a bad mod.

This is about Clyde being a bad person.

Actually, I had seen that video before - it's pretty old. It's also quite nitpicky.

Having seen posts directed at myself and Dayton over the subject before, this looked like another obvious example of how some people just can't resist the urge to troll us about it. Whine about it if you like, it's happened before and undoubtedly it'll happen again.

Maybe after the banning got you warmed up you'd find it in yourself to upgrade the board instead of just talk about it for a year. Or if that is too much you could just LET OTHER PEOPLE UPGRADE IT ON THEIR OWN DIME AND TIME. Could be that once the actual 'doing something' ball got rolling you'd decide to fix the arcade or chat or the gallery. HECK you could even get REAL CRAZY and try to actually ADD features and IMPROVE things.
