The last time I flew I took delta. They had no person at the desk but had 8 desks. They did not have a kiosk for tickets either despite the crop duster airlines having theirs. They mislabeled my gate at my stop over and lost the plane and crew of the plane and took hours finding a new one. Plus they put me on a prop plane with bullet holes from world war two. Fuck delta and their suck. I would sooner ride delta Burke than fly that shitburger airline ever again.

I too have had some bad experiences with Delta -- I might even have mentioned that once or twice. I didn't realise they could lose a whole plane and crew, though.

My favorite airline of all time was PSA (Pacific Southwest Airways). Why was it my favorite? Well, let's just say that I believe to this day that their consultant for hiring the flight attendants was Hugh Hefner. They made quite an impression a hormone-charged teenager. Yes it was a different time...

I've never been on a flight with a hot stewardess. :( The closest I got was on my way from Alabama to Bosnia when a super-hot passenger kept putting her perfect ass in the air bending over her seat to talk to her female friend in the seat behind her. :fap: And she cut up my food for me because my right hand was in a cast at the time. She was such a sweetie-pie!

So wound up driving down to my Mom's house. The distance was 491 miles, made it in 7 hours 12 minutes. The trip here (mom's house) took me fairly close to Atlanta Airport. The drive time would have been 1-1/2 hours to the airport and still an hour from the airport to my mom's house.

So flying would have taken 6 hours at least. Driving took 7 hours and 12 minutes, 7 hours and 19 minutes including stopping for gas. It comes out to an average of 68.2 miles an hour. If I had left at 5:30 in the morning instead of 9:30, could have cut about 30 minutes from the drive time and would be an average speed of 73.3 mile an hour. Which does work out, once I was out of Atlanta close to McDonough the speed limit is 70 mph all the way. I kept the cruise control at 77-78 mph.

If I were to leave right now, I can be pulling up at the Sheraton in Flushing, Queens in 13 hours. I know because I've done it multiple times and I'm two states further away.

18 hours from Newark, NJ to Columbia, SC is an average speed of 38.89mph. An average of 50mph is a leisurely travel pace that includes stopping to eat, fuel, etc.

When I lived in New York, my brother and I drove to my Mom's house in Florida several times. She lives in the Tampa Bay area, the fastest we ever made was in less than 13 hours. Yeah... we were doing 95+ the whole way.

I dunno about the stewardess thing but Singapore airlines is fucking amazing. Them, Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa and Thai Airlines are the best in the world.

I was very happy with my one and only Lufthansa flight experience. the difference in comfort, food, and service was night and day compared to any of the major US airlines. I would rather take an 8 hour flight with Lufthansa than a 2 hour flight on United.

It's a moot point really - every aircraft that has ever flown (including the Wright Brothers epic first flight) or ever will fly MUST go through Atlanta! :brood:
I'm willing to bet Amelia Earhart is still there somewhere.

Dunno why Singapore or Korea think they need that 25+ rule, as Asian women generally stay hot like they're bathing daily in the blood of virgins. Which, given Asian men, they might be.

I'm looking at Ming Na-Wen and Michelle Yeoh.
