Like Disneyland, they will probably be fined for exceeding their allotment of pollutants being pumped into the air. Disney pays a fine every evening they run their fireworks show and their Fantasmic show. I believe the fines have been decreased slightly since they changed the type of launching technology used to get many of their fireworks into the night sky though.

As for the fire on the backlot, this isn't the first one the studio has experienced and more than likely not the last. In the last set of fires, I recall portions of the Back to the Future sets being destroyed. It was about the time they had finished shooting the final two movies, although it didn't effect the sets for those movies as they were filmed at Universal Studios, in Florida.

That building looks like concrete to me. I would imagine the interior could burn and the shell and bearing structures would remain intact.

The Universal Studios theme park in Orlando is not connected geographically to a Hollywood style movie and tv studio.

YOU said they can film movies at the Orlando theme park. I'm not aware of any Universal Studios in Orlando that does movie and tv work.

Yes, I did say they can film in Orlando. I didn't say they were. Unfortunately, an over-reactionary individual such as you can't seem to grasp the easily grasped topics that most people are able to. I know what I've posted and I also know what you've posted. Very interesting how you chose to claim there is no filming at Universal Orlando.

Why do you feel so strongly about that Mewa? Did you and your daughter not see the filming taking place before your very eyes or something? Because of not seeing it take place, you and your child choose to equate with that as meaning it doesn't happen?
