Exactly. What would Twinkle Sparkle say? He would probably tell you to shove it and kick you in the face. Then Pinkie Pie would rape your sleeping body and you would smile inside.
That's right, and it won't. There could be a single incident so egregious that it warrants action. Or there could be a series of escalating incidents, etc. Now answer the question: "fuck 'da police," means we should do what regarding the reported post?
Cool Dayton, that means we can treat your posts in this thread as spam or trolling. How many warnings is that?
Well let's see, 69 slaves at 3/5 a person per slave is 41.4 warnings. Assuming he's delegating his posting duties.
Thank God for that. Anything else would invite abuse. Seriously, if you can't distinguish use from abuse, don't use it. That is good advice un general, btw.
That was a report by me, deliberately meant as a joke to highlight the bullshit festering under the surface....and, of course, it had to be you who bit first. I mean seriously, you couldn't work out that "fuck da police" was purposely insincere? This is why I am asking for proof of abuse...because I don't think you are half as smart as you think you are and I don't have the confidence that the reasons bring offered for this rule are legitimate. You twats can't even spot a joke when you get it. So how are we supposed to lnow what constitutes abuse?
From the rules as posted: Warnings are not only issued based on the rules, but also with moderator's discretion, so keep that in mind before you decide to take a chance at breaking the rules. Moderator's discretion. Which is how Wordforge has operated since Cass opened the doors on the place way back when. Nothing has changed. Not even the rules lawyers attempting to rules lawyer a non-issue into a Big Deal.
Well, you don't trust us, so I don't think offering evidence is sufficient or worthwhile. However, John was correct when he said that the board software doesn't hold on to the data. It appears to flush closed reports at the end of each month. It is obvious, however, to anybody who looks at the reports, that you, @El Chup, use it for non earnest purposes, and quite frequently at that. There are a couple of others, but you are probably the biggest violator, which I'm sure is the reason you are raising a stink. Now, you have admitted what we all knew, which is that you abuse the report function by making facetious reports. Don't do that, and you won't have a problem.
I thought one of you said a few posts back that you would not reveal who had misused the report post function? Can I ask a further question? Why is telling someone in a thread "I reported your post" or something to that effect considered a rules violation (it is that way at lots of boards by the way).
I only report posts that violate the rules or offend my evolving or devolving sense of human decency. I have to hand it to Dayton. He finally got a poster-only rule made for a nugget that I couldn't crack. It wasn't for lack of trying. Good for you!
I just read that Anna says you have recently been reporting posts that were made in 2005? Seriously and you can't see how this can only be interpreted as a way to fuck with the board? Perhaps use 'rules against posters'? You really really need to get a life!
I reported one and only one from 2005. Kind of impulsively but in fact something that had stuck in my mind years back but that I had trouble relocating.
"Oh ho, thought you'd gotten away with it, did you? At last, at last! I have found the post that's eluded me for so long. Let's see what the moderators will have to say about this! Revenge is sweet!" *click*
The fact you searched out a post you disagreed with 10 years ago says something about your priorities in life. The fact you decided to report a 10 year old post says something about your character or lack of The fact you went to the bother of reporting it as if you expected the current owners to do something about a post made 10 years ago, long before they had any authority says something about your intelligence
The post in question if I had reported it in 2005 would have been cause for a warning for the person that posted it.
If you say so, but whats the hit rate of posts you have reported getting warnings? 1%? Regardless, what did you expect to happen 10years after the incident? Honestly?
