Maya is better for those with freehand drawing skills, I've heard. I've got my general drafting certificate and cut my computer drawing skills on Autocad, so I'm better with 3D Studio

I write mostly - or tell stories in general, whether it be writing, creating games, or role-playing (yeah, I'm a geek!). I sing to my son all the time, which he loves and makes him smile. I'd say the only thing that could qualify as art is the writing, and that rarely - but I enjoy all of these as means of expression.

I use Adobe Illustrator to create representations of the capabilities of various space ships for a war game I play, and hope to get into 3d modeling soon with a program like Maya or something similar. I run a wargame/rpg in a cross-over science fiction setting when I have the time, that I wrote a hundred page rule book on and modelled the capabilities of dozens of sci-fi universes for.

That's about it. Not really the artistic type. More the Geek type. :)

My longest discipline is comic book inking. But I do a lot of drawing and sketching, work in pen and ink. Late last yeat I jumped into the digital world with a graphics tablet and various drawing applications.

    The Dark Arts :diacanu:

Writing actually. I'm mildly proficient in Photoshop, but I have a hard time coming up with something really good. I couldn't hand draw my way out of a wet paper bag tho. I'd like to be able to play an instrument (saxophone  ), but never had the patience for more than two or three hours of anything. It's like with everything I am: I either succeed at the first try or I won't keep on trying. I don't do things I suck at, even tho everybody sucks at everything one has not yet a clue of.
