Guess I don't remember that particular incident. I think the worst memory I have from that group is one of them linking to and recommending a hurt/heal fan-fic that involved the violent rape and disfigurement of T'Pol (they cut the tips of her ears off). I think the oddest memory I have of the old computer is her argument that A/T'P was better because sound clips from Kirk and Spock were included in some '80s song.
A poster by the name of Commodore 64 from the Enterprise forum. Imagine how Volpone flipped a switched when Obama was elect. Imagine Garamet's special brand of passive-aggressive trolling circa 2005. Imagine Starguard's passion for Egyptian history. Now put all shit into one poster shipping for a couple that had no change of becoming canon (it was fairly obvious by the beginning of season three that this was so), managed to turn nearly every thread into a shipping pissing contest and pretty much got away with it because "her trolling wasn't as blantant"...a paraphrased quote from a mod (one from the "other camp" at that. ) TBBS...it is a strange place....
I don't even know where to begin with any of that. I briefly thought about starting a Godawful Fanfiction thread after I took over, and that fic seems like a good contender for a first entry.
