Why do libtards thinks "abolish ICE" and opening the borders will win them 2020?

It seems the "abolish ICE" movement has died down the past few weeks. Probably because the more intelligent Dems realized that mouthing such stupidity was a foolproof way to lose this year as well as 2020.

Of course, the Dems just can't seem to stop stumbling over their own idiocy, as evidenced by Andrew "America was never that great" Cuomo. Yeah, that comment makes a nice bookend to Moochelle's infamous "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country" remark.

One is a declaration of war, the other is a (mostly cribbed) set of laws... try harder.

Obviously you couldn't just abolish prisons tomorrow, but it's definitely something worth working towards. If you work to minimize poverty, eliminate stupid and unnecessary laws and decriminalize drugs, improve education and teach kids to be decent to each other, then you'll eliminate the majority of crime along with the need for most prisons. Treat the few remaining criminals as mentally ill (which they presumably are) and lock them up in mental hospitals where they don't get out until they're fully rehabilitated. Maybe some of them never get out if they're deemed too much of a danger to reoffend, but at least the focus is on treatment instead of for-profit punishment.

What remains wouldn't be considered a prison by today's standards.

At least we can roll them back to where they weren't a for-profit enterprise.

kind of a conundrum here: you say private prisons have systemic racism. Then again government run prisons must have systemic racism because rich old white men run the government for the most part. And with Trump as HMIC prison will be SUPER DUPER RACIST for at least the next couple of years.

Took them nearly 70 years to catch this scumbag, but they can round up brown people in no time.

The abolish ICE idiots were running a complete propaganda campaign over the last week claiming a poor undocumented migrant was cruelly arrested while he took his wife to the hospital to have a baby leaving her without him!

The part they left out was this illegal alien scumbag was a gang member with a murder warrent (from Mexico) so he was hiding out in the US in order to avoid being tried for murder in Mexico. His wife was also getting a c section and was not in labor. Even after it was exposed that the pro illegal alien "activists" were defending a murder and gang member they just kept lying and making excuses claiming it was a case of mistaken identity. It was not mistaken identity and even the Mexican government had confirmed the activist's poster boy was a murdering gang member.

Fuck the "activists" and their lies.
