If there's any interpretation for "Go and sin no more" other than "I know you've sinned, and I'm announcing it to the entire mob," I'm sure you'll be able to present it here. This^.
OK, so Chris gave a homeless guy a blowjob while Nick's girlfriend recorded it on her iPhone? I just want to make sure I have the story straight.
To be sort of serious for a moment, I'm not jumping for joy about Nick being on staff again given his past behavior...but that said, the past is just that. I hope that he's learned when to step back and not take things so personally or serious and if he hasn't I hope Lanzman is swift in removing his ass off the roster.
Where are you getting this from? Since a Christian's motivation is supposed to be nothing but love, at all times, any judgment which involves looking down on anyone in any way, even if it does not include any consequences other than that, is not in accord with Biblical teaching. It is quite appropriate to note behavior and take it into consideration ("You will know them by their fruits"), but even that should never involve a value judgment on the other person. "This person behaves in a way that is dangerous" may be an appropriate analysis, but "This is a bad person and I have the right to insult him" is not.
Can we please make this thread less about the bible and more about Nick getting rolled by the homeless guy and Chris being angry at him?
That's a matter of perspective. But you can't argue he doesn't know more than apostle about, well, anything.
