Only global poverty can save the planet, insists WWF - and the ESA!

    And the kicker.

We all knew it was ultimately about putting us First Worlders in mud huts.

Yes, stable high income nations descending into third world shitholes won't cause hungry people to kill every critter, burn all the available vegetation to stay warm and cook, erode the soil with millions of individual tiny farms, etc.

Here in America (the evil rich) we cleaned up our Great Lakes and pollution levels in general, and have more expertly managed wildlife than at almost any time in history.

Has the WWF gone full retard?

I'm shocked to see such a damning condemnation of the WWF report from you.

I'm not surprised the blog you would feel compelled to link to would completely misinterpret the findings:

This is not a surprise. Both sides of the aisle have known this for decades. In fact, it's the very basis of the capitalist stance of finite amount of energy and resources.

The WWF was much more sane and rational the years in which Jimmy Superfly Snuka was in the squared circle.

Does anyone care that the WWF did not actually make any of those claims?

No. It does not fit in with their preconceived ideas nor the twisted version of reality.

Besides, it's Sandbagger. He almost always links to a blog that inaccurately interprets the actual study so he can twist it any way he wants to.

No! Taking that into account does not make for such interesting discussions!
