It's not like they need to breathe. I don't agree a zombie could last very long in salt water but it seems like a minor quibble when you're talking about the undead running around and devouring human flesh. At any rate Brook's zombies do die from exposure eventually. I believe he states something like 5 to 10 years. If you want to see real supernatural zombies read Monster Island or The Rising.
Ok im at 31%. But im willing to bet, that becuase my new home is in walkin distants to a boat dock at a river that leads to the ocean, me chances are higher. Mayber you should bring your guns here shoes. Georgia is known for all the lil off shore islands, with lil to no residents. Whatcha say?
Of course they need air to breathe! No corpse is going to reanimate from the dead, they're just plague-infected humans who are very resilient to pain and insatiably hungry, with all higher brain functions destroyed.
28% on the first test, and: Survivor: About a three in five chance of survival. You're making smart choices, and more than likely to hold out on your own or in small groups for a little while. on the second one.
Can't take the WWZ test because the sixth or so question in only has US-based answers. Which is a shame, because I own and can maintain a bicycle and those are the best forms of transport according to the ZSG, so I figured I might do OK (guns not being the best weapon versus the WWZ zombies). Lethe's quiz: Survivor: About a three in five chance of survival. You're making smart choices, and more than likely to hold out on your own or in small groups for a little while. I picked sword over sharpened shovel, dunno if that affected it. The ZSG goes with shovel as you can decapitate cleanly with a single thrust, but scenario given is indoors so not a lot of room if you need to maneuovre the weapon around to face a second angle of attack (ie: zombie got in the back door while you're covering the front).
Civilizer: About a four in five chance of survival. You're looking ahead to a time after the zombies, hoping to play a part in its creation. At least you're surviving and defending yourself.
Even then, though, I'd argue that a shovel (or any weapon combining both heft and a sharp blade, though the shovel can be used for more than fighting) is still a better choice than a sword. The shovel is better for decapitation, whereas the sword is more of a thrust, requiring the removal of the sword from the skull.
