Call me old-fashioned but I believe the traditional 1 man / 1 woman marriage environment raising kids is usually the best way. Barring that, having a strong, positive male role model helps out a lot. Not saying kids can't make it any other way but this is the ideal.

I do also. In my case we just don't all live together. This year my kid is with me Christmas week.

But we must recognize that there are many, many single parent homes. These are often better than the two parent home when that two parent home has one problem parent.

I just hate seeing how easy it is for people to just say.."Oh, no Dad, no wonder."

Use the show and cash in on the money already spent, but irritate the parents who now think she's a terrible example and don't want their kids watching her on TV and risk losing viewership and sponsors or;

Can the next season, write her off the show, and eat a huge monetary loss.

Surprisingly, even if JamiLynn is being ostracised for her decision, I do not see a problem with this (her pregnancy, not the stupid planned show).

Before I get crucified, hear me out: she is not starving, neither is she living off of govt. handouts. She made her own money, worth of many times over an average American I would presume. If she is intelligent with her finances, she is set for life. Her child would not have to have a troubled childhood, at least not that of a hand-to-mouth-living single mum juggling 2 jobs.

Hopefully she won't be a trainwreck like her older sister, or worse yet, AmyWinehouse!!

So if the Spears family is trying to protect JL's producer, and the cops decide to do some investigation of this and find out that it's true, won't the Spears family be in a whoooole lotta legal trouble over this?
