what tamar said. it's very masculine. and the red is too.....fire engine red. the maroon-ish color that nick used upthread was a better color IMO, regardless of what design you pick.

    That's kinda what I thought.

Personally, I don't care for it. Looks too busy, IMHO. The cross sort of sells the Celtic bit as far as I'm concerned.

I would also try a thicker font, just to see if it meshes better with the logo, and continue to tinker with the blue. Logo looks nice, with or without the knots.

I'd be VERY concerned using that cross in your neck of the woods given it's favour among white power organizations.

Shit, are you serious? I didn't think of that. Guess I'll have to check it out. Then again just because I live in Florida doesn't mean we're a hotbed of klan activity

Shit. And to think I got the idea from another graphic that in no way would I confuse the two.

understandable... they've co-opted just about every northern european symbol possible.

funny thing, one of my shields for when i go play with sharp things has an almost identical cross with the same triquettas.

I think the problem I'm perceiving might be in context... That type would see the viking stylings on the cross and presume an invitation to their, um, community.

Actually I've been playing with the idea of rotating it 45 degrees and getting rid of the triquettas and outlining. I'll try to post a pic when I get to it.
